Executive

Function The executive branch carries out and enforces


laws. It is responsible for implementing and
administering the public policy enacted and funded by
the legislative branch. The executive branch is
headed by the president, whose constitutional
responsibilities include serving as commander in
chief of the armed forces, negotiating treaties,
appointing federal judges, ambassadors, and
cabinet officials, and acting as head of state.
Age requirement At least 40 years old on election day.
Term of office President – 1 term,6 years per term and cannot be
re-elected.

Vice President- 2 terms, 6 years per term.
