I’ve grown in the area I highlighted above tremendously because at the beginning
of the i never really thought of using different shading values, contrast, and contour but
towards the end of the year i perfected using different shading values, contrast, and
contour and you can see that i did in the assignments shahed sphere, my prized
possession drawing, and still life self portrait drawing.

These projects show how I have grown this year because at the beginning of the
year the first assignment was to draw a shaded sphere and in that assignment I only
used shading value, I didn't use no contrast, and no contour but I didn't really perfect
shading the sphere that well. The thing that helped me improve the most was watching
videos on youtube to help me improve my shading blending so, towards the middle of
the year in the assignment, “still life self portrait” I included shading, contrast and used
the value scale but didn't fully master all of these techniques. Then near the end of the
year on the assignment my prized possession I included shading, blending, contrats,
and contour shading to make my drawing pop out and more realistic.

To conclude, some creative solutions I came up with to deal with challenges that
I faced along the way was searching up on youtube how to blend shading, use contrast,
and contour when I am stuck. When I don't know what to do, youtube videos about
techniques on shading and more gives me creative and smart ideas, it helps me
superpass and deal with my challenges. While making this project I learned that I came
a long way from the beginning to the middle of the year and to the end of the year. I
came from difficult challenges that I had to surpass. Throughout this school year I
learned about art, drawing, and different kinds of techniques to make my drawing
realistic and pop out more.
