Overview
MobileDaRt Evolution is a mobile digital X-ray system which performs direct radiography on patient's
various body parts.
This operation guide briefly describes basic operation of MobileDaRt Evolution.
For detailed operation, refer to the relevant instruction manuals.

lStatus Indicator Lamp


The status of the status indicator lamp changes according to the
instrument status as follows.

! CAUTION

If the status indicator lamp is red, the code is displayed on the mAs display on the X-ray control
panel. If the status indicator is red, carefully read "6 Troubleshooting" in the Operation Manual and
take the appropriate measures.


Preparation
lTurning the Power ON

1 Insert the key, and turn


the key switch to
position.

! CAUTION

Always age the X-ray tube unit before starting radiography.

lDriving the Instrument

1 Move the instrument

If electric travel is disabled due to an instrument malfunction, press the emergency brake release
button and manually move the instrument to a safe location.
For detailed operation, See "lIf Unable to Travel Electrically" (^ Page 7).

@ NOTE

• Maximum Travel Speed:Approx. 5 km/h (Maximum instantaneous travel speed: 6 km/h, may vary
depending on condition)
• When the lock is released, the driving speed becomes about half of the normal speed.


Positioning

1 Place the flat panel

DR Radiography
lStarting up the DR System

1 Attach the battery pack


to the back side of the
flat panel sensor.

The power lamp illuminates green, and


the unit is turned ON.
When communication is established
between the system and flat panel sensor,
the LED of the access point illuminates
blue.

2 Press DR Button.
The DR system will start up.

lSelecting/Creating Study Order
nTo select a study order (Worklist)

1 Start up the console


(DR-ID 800CL).
[Patient Information Input screen] is
displayed.

2 Press .
[Study List screen] is displayed.

3 Press .
The study order received from RIS is
displayed in the study list.

@ NOTE
When the wireless LAN option is not installed, be sure to connect the LAN cable to the LAN
connector for external connection.

4 Select the received study
order, and press .
[Exposure Menu Selection screen] is
displayed.

5 Press .

[Study List screen] is displayed.

@ NOTE

If no exposure menu is registered in the Study screen when the system receives patient information
from the Worklist, it is necessary to select an exposure menu in [Exposure Menu Selection screen].

6 Press and make
sure that the study order
is in the waiting status.
Although the console (DR-ID 800CL)
is restarted, the waiting status will be
maintained.

@ NOTE

Please make sure to receive the study list in the "Waiting Study list", when moving the FDR Go after
receiving a study list from RIS.

Otherwise, the study list will be lost when the console (DR-ID 800CL) is restarted.

7 Select the desired study

1 Use the X-ray control panel buttons as necessary to


set kV and mAs values, and switch the focus mode.

lPerforming X-ray Exposure

1 Press the hand switch

preparation, (Ready indicator lamp) is
turned ON.

The X-ray starts being radiated.
Keep pressing the hand switch until the
exposure is completed.

During the X-ray exposure, (X-ray
exposure lamp) illuminates and a buzzer
sounds.

Indicates yellow while X-ray exposure is
being performed.

3 Put the hand switch

To perform radiography consecutively, wait until the status indicator lamp has been changed into

4 The acquired image
is displayed. After
checking the image,
select to to
complete the study.

@ NOTE

Re-exposure for the exposure menu to which images have been


read can be performed. Note that the read images for this exposure
menu will be handled as mis-exposures.
Select an exposure menu to be re-exposed, and then select .
The read image is handled as mis-exposure image, and the menu
for re-exposure is displayed (selected). Perform the image reading
again.
(The image handled as mis-exposure image cannot be output to the
external devices.)

To cancel the operation, select the exposure menu handled as mis-


exposure, and select again.
The exposure menu for re-exposure remains as is.
If is selected, the“Mis-exposure Cause Input box”will be displayed depending on the setting
performed at time of installation.
When entering a cause of the rejection, is in the activated state, as shown below, which is
changed alternately every time it is selected.
From the drop-down list that opens, select a classification of the cause of mis-exposure.

Input causes, and then select to close the box. The relevant image will thus be handled as
mis-exposure image.

lShutting Down the DR System

1 Press at the right top


of the window, and click
[Shut Down].

lPerforming X-ray Exposure

Image Output
lAutomatic output
When the system is connected to the network, pressing on the Study screen will
automatically output images.

lManual output
For a study output previously or one suspended for QA application, output the images manually.

1 Insert the LAN cable into

If the warning indicator lamp illuminates, the warning code appears on the mAs display.

lMalfunction Indicator Lamp
If the self-diagnostic function detects any malfunction in the system, malfunction indicator lamp illuminates,
and radiography is disabled.
The malfunction code appears on the mAs display.
If the malfunction indicator lamp illuminates, contact your Shimadzu service representative.
