INTERNAL BID NOTICE

CA 02/11 – SALE OF OBSOLETE PHOTOCOPY MACHINES, POOL/ BABY FOOT TABLES

INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS

1. The University intends to sell the above obsolete items on an As Is Where

Is basis, as per Annex 2.

2. Prospective bidders are requested to contact Mr D Surnam, Services

Superintendent (Tel. No. 403 7545), for an appointment to inspect the
items or for any further information.

3. Bids should be made on the prescribed Bid Submission Form as provided at

Annexes I & 2 herewith.

4. The Bid should be addressed in a sealed envelope to The Chairperson,

Quotation Committee, University of Mauritius, Réduit, and lodged in
the Tender Box located in the Registry, Central Administration, 7th
Floor, Tower Block, New Academic Complex, Réduit, at latest by
Friday 18 February 2011 up to 1.30 p.m. at the latest. Late
submissions will not be considered.

Bids received by fax or e-mail will not be considered.

5. The reference “CA 02/11 – Sale of Obsolete Photocopy Machines,

Pool Tables & Baby Foot” should be clearly marked on the top right-
hand corner on the envelope.

6. Corrections, deletions or additions have to be initialled by the

Bidder.

7. A photocopy of the National Identity Card should be submitted by bidders

along with their Bid Submission Form.

8. The University of Mauritius reserves the right to accept or reject any bid,
and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to
award of bid as per the provision of Section 39 (1) of the Public Procurement
Act 2006.

closing date fixed for receiving the same and it shall remain binding upon
me/us and may be accepted any time before the expiration of that period.

4. I/we understand that the University of Mauritius reserves the right to

accept or reject any offer and to annul the bidding process and reject all
offers at any time prior to the award of bid.
