Rukhsorakhon Tukhtasinova - Roundtables Part 2 Artists Statement
How I got better at expressing myself and my creativity? Well I can say it’s all about practining
because the more you practice the more you get better at it. In the beginning of the year I could draw
but I couldn’t express what I wanted to draw. Now it's the end of the year I could say I got better at it
but not too much. At the end of the day nobody is perfect so you always have tomorrow to get better
at it. My first artwork is not really mine because I copied that art from google. At that time I didn’t
know how to draw. I only knew how to draw by seeing things like I couldn’t draw what I didn't see.
My struggles were ripping my artwork when it doesn’t come out the way I want to or not believing in
myself. I wanted to get better at trusting the final process. My last artwork shows how far I’ve
come.Which is the third one shows what’s going on inside my head. What did I do to improve my
art?Watching videos about how to improve your drawing skills. How did your ideas change along the
way? Well my ideas change everyday because I guess that’s what teenagers should be. Also, my final
piece was one of my favorites because half of it was watercolor painted and half of it was done on the
phone . I learned that you need to trust the final process and draw whatever comes to your mind even
