1. Introduction

This working plan describes temporary sheet pile and shoring works at Limestone Storage Shed in
Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant and Transmission Lines Construction Project located at Thai
Thuy, Thai Binh province, Viet Nam.

The statement consists of Site Preparation, Material Supply, Temporary Sheet Pile and Shoring
Procedure, Quality Plan and Safety Plan, related to Contractor’s responsibility for implementation
of the Sheet Piling Work in Specification and Designs as well as the relevant standard of the
Project.

6. Sheet Pile and Shoring Works Schedule

7. Construction Work Procedure


7.1 Sheet Pile Delivery and Storage

Sheet piles will be transported to site by trailers. The sheet pile will be inspected at site before
storage.
The storage area of the sheet pile at the site must be flat and on firm ground. Sheet piles on
trailers will be unloaded by crane. During unloading of sheet piles, the following items shall be
observed.
- Sheet pile shall be kept in horizontal position during lifting using guide ropes
- Signal man shall give a clear signal from the position that can be seen by crane operator.
Sheet pile shall be stocked on bedding materials. The sheet pile segment shall be stocked not
greater than 5 layers. Sheet pile storage area will be set up near pile installation area.

8. Quality Control Plan

The driving of sheet pile will be controlled by following allowances:


i. Inclination not more than 1/75
ii. Elevation of top of sheet pile +/-100mm.
Any piles exceeding above limits will be removed and re-driven.

9. Safety Control and Risk Assessment

This plan shall conform to the document “TB–18U–C–TOA–1010-Rev. 03” HSE (Health, Safety
& Environment) Plan submitted to EVN.
Prior to commencement of the works, TOA will ensure that both PTW and STARRT Procedure
are instigated, together with safe system work, practices and requirements.
For safety analysis (work description and the hazard) and how to minimize the risk, refer to
Attachment 06 - Risk Assessment
For communication and action plan in case of any incident/accident on site, refer to Attachment
