Bloom’s Taxonomy Level(s): (It would not let me delete or mark in the boxes, so I marked next to them)
☐X Remembering ☐X Understanding ☐ Applying ☐ Analyzing ☐ Evaluating ☐ X Creating
☐ Integration Level: We would like to see ALL lessons/activities reach this level. The project is student-
driven. Students have “Voice and Choice” in the activities, selecting the topic of study and determining the
technology tool to demonstrate mastery of the standard. All products of learning are unique and
personalized. The teacher becomes more of a facilitator walking around monitoring the student-led
activity.
☐X Expansion Level: The projects created are shared outside of the classroom, publishing student work and
promoting authorship. This could be reached by showcasing the project on the school’s morning
newscast, posting the project to the classroom blog, or publishing via an outside source.
8-slide book. The next day, once the students have completed their eBook, I will model how to record their
presentation with audio. Then the students will have 10-15 minutes to add their audio recordings.
To extend the students learning I have chosen to use Seesaw. The students will be able to share their eBook
on their Seesaw account. This will allow other students, parents, and me to view their presentation. I will ask
the students to watch at least 2 of their peers eBook presentations. Once they have watched the videos of
the eBooks, then they will leave comments on their peer's post. These comments will be positive and should
highlight what they liked about their peers eBook.
Reflective Practice:
This activity will help students learn how to use a basic productivity tool. This tool will be beneficial to them
throughout the rest of their education career. I have already added an extension into the lesson, SeeSaw,
which I thought would be beneficial in sharing ideas with their peers and parents/guardians.
