Genel İnançlar:
Self-Assertiveness (the quality of being confident and not frightened to say what
you want or believe)
1. Nesnel olmak için uygun durumlarda, genellikle düşünce, fikir ve hislerimi ifade
etmem uygundur.
2. Uygun durumlarda kendimi uygun şekilde ifade etme hakkına sahibim.
3. Fikirlerimi savunma, onları destekleme hakkına sahibim.
4. Değerlerimi ve hislerimi önemli görme hakkına sahibim.
5. Diğer insanların benim kim olduğumu görmesi ve bilmesi benim çıkarıma hizmet
eder.
Kişisel Bütünlük (the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles)
1. Values that nurture and support the individual's life and fulfillment on earth are
superior to values that endanger or threaten them.
2. All adult human associations should be chosen and voluntary.
3. We should not sacrifice self to others nor others to self; we should discard the
idea of human sacrifice as a moral ideal.
4. Relationships based on an exchange of values are superior to those based on
the sacrifice of anyone to anyone.
5. A world in which we regard ourselves and one another as accountable for our
choices and actions works better than a world in which we deny such
accountability.
6. A denial of personal accountability does not serve anyone's self esteem, least of
all the person doing the denying.
7. The moral, rationally understood, is the practical.
8. In principle, consciousness is reliable; knowledge is attainable; reality is
knowable.
9. That which is, is; a fact is a fact.
10. Self-chosen blindness does not make the unreal real or the real unreal.
11. Respect for the facts of reality (as best I understand them) yields more satisfying
results than defiance of the facts of reality.
12. Survival and well-being depend on the appropriate exercise of consciousness.
13. Avoidance of the responsibility of awareness is not adaptive.
