This section describes the procedures and precautions to install this machine and to check the operations after
installation.

WARNING
• Do not forcibly lift this machine. When relocating this machine over a leveled floor, use a lift
or other exclusive heavy-machinery lifting equipment.
• Always install this machine with two or more manpower to prevent human injury or
machine damage.

Adjust the adjuster feet in the six locations at

the bottom of this machine (4 corners and 2
middle areas), and install on the floor.

Use a spanner to tighten (one turn) the nut at

the bottom of the adjuster foot, then lift the
caster from the floor.

Use a level gauge to ensure that this machine has been setup horizontally. If it hasn’t,
then adjust the adjuster feet so that it is horizontal.

Tighten the nut at the top-side of the adjuster

foot, to the machine. Then securely tighten.

Remove all the taping and packaging materials

of this machine.

Unscrew the 4 screws on the metal fixture at the

top and bottom of the front cover. Then open
the front cover. Next, unscrew the 4 screws of
the metal fixture fixed on the backside of the
front cover. Then disassemble the 2 metal
fixtures. Then remove the accessories stored in
the waste box, and check for any missing parts.

Unscrew the 3 screws located in the place shown

in the illustration. Then screw on those screws
on the “reject tray”.

Tip
The JOB Creator is a software to input a JOB for the DC-645 from the computer. Install the
program on the computer using the CD-ROM coming with the machine. Then connect the DC-
645 and computer with a USB cable and start operations. (The USB cable length must be
within 3 m)
