“Creed” is the first spin off of the Rocky saga; released in 2015, set many years after the

golden
age of the Italian Stallion and starring Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone in his endearing
role of Rocky, has become in one of the best sports films on recent years.

Adonis Johnson is the illegitimate child of Apollo Creed, one of the greatest champions in box
history, was found in an orphanage and raised by Mary Anne, widow of Creed. Possessor of an
innate talent for boxing, Adonis is determined to become a professional pugilist out of the
shadow of his late father. To make his dream come true, Adonis moves to Philadelphia in
looking for Rocky Balboa, former world champion and intimate friend of Creed to be trained by
him. Rocky accepts in a second instance, not knowing that he will need Adonis to face one of
his toughest fights, his fight against cancer. This film has Adonis as the principal character,
Rocky Balboa is now the master mind behind the future success of the next great Creed and
this gives to the character of Jordan a big boost in his develop during all the movie.

All the characters in this film have an enviable construction. In addition, they have a story to
tell and are perfectly developed throughout the film. Despite this, it would have been very
favorable to know a little of the history of Adonis before his encounter with Mary Anne.

To the lovers of Rocky, it is going to be a memorable film to watch.
