EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Dry - Wet Food, and Frozen Food has been a soaring type of business in
the Philippines. One thing good about this type of venture is that is not
closeted on the concept of manufacturing and supplying to consumers, may it
be for consumption or small retail business. Ideally, a second-level supplier
would put-up a store of their own to promote a manufacturer’s products.
Dry - Wet Food, and Frozen foods constitutes fruits, vegetables, fishes,
chickens among other food necessities and ready-to-eat food wherein you
simply put oil, and the products are easily eaten.
This business plan would tackle the different types of food under Dry -
Wet Food, and Frozen Food and how to run such business with good sales
and marketing plan. It would help the audience on the geographical and
corporate aspect of the industry; whether they opt to consume or to open up a
business. This may mean that audience would have an idea of the balance
scorecard of the business, and the reason behind the costing and assets
included. Further, the audience would have a brief background on the selling
points of Dry - Wet Food, and Frozen Food. In fact, they would know the
descriptions of each food that would be stated in the plan. Lastly, the legal
basis of operations and what would a businessman would need in order to
sustain this type of products.
As a CEO, Dry - Wet Food are an excellent venture if you are a business-
minded individual with minimal capital at hand for the reason that this kind
of business would surely cost minimal while allowing economic and
environmental sustainability. Businessmen would enjoy daily basis revenue
as to its equivalence to daily market demand for foods that are easy to
prepare. Also, manufacturers would be savoring the concept of second-level
supplier since this business are open for mini stores who want to retail as
said. Consumers to Distributors to Suppliers to Manufacturers would also
benefit from the healthy effects of choosing frozen food rather than fast foods.
Given this, the conceptualization came easy knowing that these products
are all natural, and eatable with much comfort at home. It is a mainstay in the
refrigerator of every homes, and restaurants who offer fast cooking but
healthy foods.
BUSINESS DESCRIPTION
Fruits and vegetables are picked at peak ripeness and often frozen within
hours, locking in nutrients and flavor. Generally, frozen foods retain their
vitamins and minerals and there is no change to the carbohydrate, protein or
fat content. In some cases, frozen foods have more vitamins and minerals
compared to fresh because fresh foods lose vitamins and minerals over time
while freezing preserves nutrients.
OPERATIONAL PLAN
When faced with all of this uncertainty, the business would explore
multiple demand scenarios. Try one then another demand forecast and run it
through the operation simulator. Study the results and their impact on
projected financial performance.
Once settled on the most likely demand scenario, adjust key production
decisions and see if performance can be improved. business would keep
iterating until the most informed decision possible is made in light of the
uncertainty you are facing.
Issues Identified
For number 2, one option might be to collect all liquids that come in
contact with the machines and parts into large underground storage tanks for
disposal in a safe manner. In order to make the necessary changes, part of the
production facility's flooring and drainage system would need to be torn up
in order to install the correct piping and collection tanks. If these corrections
are not made before the next production capacity expansion, the cost to
retrofit the production facility could be quite expensive.
For number 3, the business would transform the entire production facility
into a “clean room.” This can be accomplished by installing a reverse air
ventilation system which draws the air out of the room and into a super clean
filtering system. Such a system would remove all carbon fiber whiskers out of
the air in order to prevent workers from breathing them into their lungs. As
an added benefit, the filtering system would remove other air-born
particulates (i.e., sanding dust) and chemicals and create a cleaner
environment for employees.

Now for the bad news, prices are not expected to improve. Buyers are
remaining tight with their purchases. They are willing to buy, but at the same
price points that we have seen in recent quarters.
To add on that, high reliability brands do not break down, which results
in more satisfied customers, fewer complaints, and lower warranty costs. For
this reason, Dry-Wet Food, and Frozen Food would focus on this, and on
advertisements. Additionally, to attract more customers the business would
convince consumers that they have exactly what they want. The business
would built a market research firm has that would be responsible for the
conduct of a research study for the business to find out how ads were
perceived by your customers. Of course, as it is wise to evaluate competitors'
ad designs, we would make the market research more comprehensive.
COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
Perhaps the business’s greatest surprise is that production facility did not
produce all the units that were planned. The productivity of production
facility is largely determined by the motivation of your workers. Motivation
is, in turn, influenced by the compensation package you offer. Production
workers will produce more if the business give them what they desire and if it
is better than the rest of the industry. When your workers are unhappy, the
number of units produced will drop, and all associated costs will increase.
Stock-outs frustrate potential customers and cause ill will. If the Dry-Wet
Food, and Frozen Food has stock-outs last quarter, it will have a negative
effect on the demand of this quarter. The business would be able to
incorporate this demand penalty in projections as it estimate demand.
The business would find that the Improvement Actions are quite
expensive. Part of the expense is due to the high startup costs for each one. In
addition, the process requires continual discovery of smaller and smaller
problems until performance falls within the desired tolerance levels. As a
result, the business can expect to make large investments for several quarters
until it has achieved high levels of reliability, efficiency, and effectiveness.
In that, Dry-Wet Food, and Frozen food’s USP plays to the business
strengths and should be based on what makes the business brand or Frozen
product uniquely valuable to your customers. However, being “unique” is
rarely a strong USP in itself. The business would differentiate around some
aspect of its target audience cares about, otherwise the messaging won’t be
nearly as effective.
With that the USP of Dry-Wet Food, and Frozen food are as follows:
(1) Assertive, but defensible
(2) Focused on what your customers value
