Save the Children has been working in Myanmar since 1995. Our programmes include Maternal and Child
Health, Nutrition, HIV/AIDS, WASH, Education, Food Security and Livelihoods, Child Protection and Child
Rights Governance and Humanitarian Responses in across the country.

We are currently inviting motivated and talented individuals to apply for Program Support Assistant based in
Hpa-An, Mon/Kayin region. Please see the following detailed information.
ROLE PURPOSE:
To support smooth and effective programme implementation by assuming the administrative, clerical, HR
and logistical responsibilities for the field teams in field Offices. - in collaboration with finance officer and
FOM.
SCOPE OF ROLE:
Administration:
Assist AOC for regular payments (such as office rent, utility charges for water and electricity)
and periodical payments as and when required
Assist AOC to make sure all vehicle in the field office are insured.
Under supervision AOC, hotel booking, air ticketing and other logistical arrangement in the field
office.
Assist in proper allocation of workstations, furniture and equipment in office buildings.
Managing stationery supplies, office supplies, staff house supplies in assigned office.
Assist AOC for logistical arrangement such as finding venue, arrangement of refreshment/food,
procurement of stationeries etc.., for internal staff capacity trainings and workshops.
Human Resources:
Assist AOC in field office recruitment process in advertising and contacting for interviews.
Keeping daily attendance records and submit compiled monthly report to AOC.
Make sure leave request letters are properly recorded and are match with daily attendance sheet.
Assist AOC to ensure staff’s employment related file such as personal information, contracts and
documents are updated and file properly
Assist the AOC to make monthly HR report, salary change request and leave report
Logistics:
Assist ALC to receiving, dispatching and recording of any incoming and outgoing stock movement
of regional to field office and then to respective teams.
Handling fuel issue for both vehicles, generators and fuel stock In/Out in Log books with assigned
guards under close supervision by ALC.
Checking the log sheets of the vehicles & generators on daily basis with drivers and guards.
Assist the ALC to ensure that procurement activities, to keep Procurement Tracker, Stock
record and Asset Register to provide monthly reports and quarterly physical checking.
Assist the ALC to Managing vehicles fleet and repair/maintenance of the vehicles, to make sure
Log books and monthly vehicle fuel consumption report.
Assist ALC to ensure the daily check lists of vehicles and generators with the drivers/security
guards.
Assist the ALC with motorbikes/generators repair and maintenance when necessary.
To Assist ALC with his/her daily tasks
Child Safeguarding:
Ensure that your staff is providing all beneficiaries of your programme with ongoing, age-
appropriate verbal or written information in relevant languages about Save the Children’s Child
Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
Others:
Assist in organizing meeting, workshop and training activities at the Regional level.
Assist in procurement and delivery materials, supplies and equipment.
Support to Line Manager other relative activities if necessary.
