Bloom’s Taxonomy Level(s):

☐ Remembering ☐ Understanding ☒ Applying ☒ Analyzing ☐ Evaluating ☐ Creating

Levels of Technology Integration:

☐ Infusion Level: Students may work at a higher Bloom’s Level, but they do not have any “Voice or Choice”
during the activity and most of the decisions are made by the teacher.

☒ Integration Level: We would like to see ALL lessons/activities reach this level. The project is student-
driven. Students have “Voice and Choice” in the activities, selecting the topic of study and determining the
technology tool to demonstrate mastery of the standard. All products of learning are unique and
personalized. The teacher becomes more of a facilitator walking around monitoring the student-led
activity.
☐ Expansion Level: The projects created are shared outside of the classroom, publishing student work and
promoting authorship. This could be reached by showcasing the project on the school’s morning
newscast, posting the project to the classroom blog, or publishing via an outside source.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL):

In order to support the variety of learners in my classroom, I will provide my students with different
products of learning and offer students to work in pairs if they would like. This gives students different
choices to allow them to pick what is best for them. This activity and technology tools will increase student
engagement. They will pick what tools interests and works best for them, which will develop higher
engagement since they get a choice. In this lesson, they will also be able to choose which way or
representation they would enjoy most.
Lesson idea implementation:
In this lesson, the students will choose from a variety of basic productivity tools to use to create a product.
I will provide them with examples and choices to get them started. They will have the ability to choose what
their final product will be. I will give my students certain days to work on things and tell them what needs to
be done by each day. This will allow me to help explain the steps one-by-one for better understanding on how
to create their project. I will describe the project they will do by providing them with requirements and how I
will grade it. This will allow them to figure out what needs to be included, but what else they can add. I will
extend the student learning to a higher level by then having the students teach the class what they have
learned. This lesson will be concluded by a fun Jeopardy game to review all the things we learned.
Reflective Practice:
I think the activities I created could increase student learning. I think students enjoy having a choice and
are more interested in activities when they get to pick things. I can extend this lesson by having the students
present to each other and provide each other with feedback. I could also develop a way to show the students’

projects to their parents. I would select one project from each different basic productivity tool.
