Dedication

It is with great honor and pleasure that we, the class of

1973, dedicate this year's Arrow to Mr. Dave Doolittle.
Mr. Doolittle not only lived up to our expectations of a
teacher , but impressed our class as being a teacher with a
straight forward character. He taught us to drive (not meaning
to put all the blame on him), supervised us in study halls , and
coached our boys to victories . He taught us well and , although
he was never one of our class sponsors, gave us good advice
when we needed to hear it.
We proudly dedicate the 1973 Arrow to Mr. Dave Doolit-
tie.

SUCCESSFUL SEASON

The 1972 edition of the Indians was a highly successful one. The Tribe went undefeated for the
first time since 1965 as they ran away with the Little "8" conference crown. High points of the season
included defeating the Galva Wildcats for the first time, 4 whitewashes , and scalping the Tampico
Trojans 20-0, where the championship was definitely at stake and the "always tough " Indians were 3
point underdogs. Dave Cain was the leading scorer in the conference with 82 points. He also earned
an all-conference berth as did Dale Dugosh, the only unanimous conference selection, and 6 othe rs .
Next year should be promising as the Frosh-Soph also captured the conference title with a
perfect 7-0 mark.

Something new has been added to the THS

Music Department. It 's a jazz band and they call
themselves "The Combo". The Combo has per-
formed at the grade school concerts as well as an
exchange with DePue. During the noon hours the
day of the Christmas party, they provided enter-
tainment for the students. There are high hopes
that this will be a successful addition to the depart-
ment.

every one for helping me and being so patient with me. I have had a great time here on the school, and I would like to thank everybody,
students and teachers because they have always been great to me and help me If I
had any problem.

This was the first year THS has had the opportunity to have foreign exchange students. It was quite an experience for the students, teachers, and
especially their American families. Much patience and understanding was needed and learned during this past year . The year was very trying but
much knowledge was gained. We hope the program continues and that as each year progresses new and better understanding will be gained.
