INDIAN BASKETBALL #
The Tiskilwa High School basketball team began its season on November 27 against Malden. And after that first game they
continued to climb the ladder of success. Losing to Walnut in the semifinal game in the conference tournament didn't hold back
our Indians, who came back and placed third in the IVC Tournament. The Indians swept the Bradford Holiday Tournament
for the fourth year in a row. The THS Indians are also proud to have claimed their second straight Regional title. The guys
made their way through the Sectional Tournament and in the final round they had their long awaited showdown with the Putnam
County Panthers. Although they lost, the team played one tough game. The basketball team had a fine season this year with
hopes of many more to come.
The Fresh-Soph team also had a fine season with a record of 20-1. The team tied for first in the regular season Indian Valley
Conference. The team also participated in a Fresh-Soph Tournament at Atkinson and placed third. With the making of a Fresh-Soph
team such as this one, the future of the varsity looks even brighter

Tomorrow is a dream
that leads. me around
tomorrow is a path I've yet to
choose,
1t's a chance I've yet to take.
a friend I\re yet to make.
it's all the talent I have yet to use.
Tomorrow is a dream that leads me
onward,
always just a step ahead of me
it's the joy I've yet to know,
the lo~·e I've yet to show,
for it's the person I have yet to be.
