Issues and Challenges In addition to the issues and challenges, some teachers experience
dilemmas/problems in the internet connection. But because of their
strategic competence, they solved the technical problems.
This pandemic has shown us how important teachers are and how
they can succeed, even during a crisis, with the right technology
and support system.
FRUITFUL BEGINNING. Ma’am Jonah Micah Mangaco, one of the JHS teachers, was the
assigned moderator during the Virtual Meeting. The program started at 9:00 AM in the
morning with an opening prayer and national anthem. Sir Alejandro B. Lingat also led the roll
call.

BITS OF LEARNINGS TO THE BASIS OF THE DEPED ORDER. Dr. John-John J. Flores, focal
person of SHS Department, discussed the rationale, scope, and definition of terms in the
DepEd. He emphasized on the essence of its implementation to different schools. He also
explained the policy statement and the important procedures for the success of the
implementation.
EPITOME OF DEDICATION. Dr. Juvelyn L. Esteban, principal of Tibag High School, explained
briefly the purpose of the Virtual Meeting. In her Principal’s Hour during the meeting, she
informed everyone, especially the parents or guardians, some important announcements
and reminders. She talked of the following: First Quarter is extended to December 12, 2020,
the turnover of positions on the Election of GPTA Officers, Duties and Responsibilities of
Officers, SEF, LGU’s in giving gadgets, Radio-Based Instruction, a form about feedbacking,
and DepEd Order No. 30 & 31. Also, after her speech, there is an OPEN FORUM where
parents or guardians asked questions.

ELECTION OF GPTA OFFICERS FOR S.Y. 2020-2021. The Mathematics Department of Tibag
High School, headed by its head teacher, Ma’am Juanita A. Soriano and her colleagues,
Fernando N. David and Paul Anthony A. Galang, facilitated the Election of GPTA Officers.

and announced the newly elected GPTA Officers. Each officers have duties and

SPEECH OF NEWLY ELECTED GPTA PRESIDENT. Ma’am Theresa Ocoma, the newly elected
GPTA President, in her concluding speech, gave thanks to all the individuals who voted her
and supported her.
