This research aims to investigate speaking anxiety among English education department students during the COVID-19 outbreak. Due to global pandemic, students are forced to do remote learning, which can cause them to feel pressure, stress, and experience significant foreign language anxiety. The study seeks to determine the level of students' foreign language anxiety, identify the sources of this anxiety, and explore coping strategies to reduce anxiety. Questionnaires and interviews will be used to collect data from third semester undergraduate students, which will then be analyzed using qualitative methods to better understand foreign language anxiety and how it can affect learning.
