The Palawan State University envisions itself to be recognized internationally by

providing lifelong learning and sustainable development. Through this, I have realized that the
university has contributed positively in my humanity by helping me develop and maintain an
attitude of learning to learn. As a mere freshman of BS in Accountancy, I have so much to learn
in order to positively contribute my knowledge and services excellently towards enhancing our
quality of life. This is in alliance with the mission of the university to upgrade people’s quality of
life. I, too, with the field that I chose, have realized that I am more capable of providing
opportunities to others. With my competence, I can help with the innovations that our
community needs through generating my knowledge with interdisciplinary research and
publications. I foresee myself being molded by the excellence of this university. I have realized
that through strategic and operating decisions, the university has empowered all of us towards
unity in diversity, even now with our new normal. Through online interactions of the students
and the faculty, everyone still withholds their missions and goals to produce competent and
ethical professional accountants. I have realized that I am more capable than what I perceive
myself to be, and with the university’s mission and vision, it has guided me towards my passion.
Just like how the university extended their goals and purposes beyond their boundaries, I, too,
shall not withhold myself from becoming a Certified Public Accountant.
