UAAP Season 2 Women’s Volleyball – DLSU vs.

ADMU Set 1 Highlights

Watching again this UAAP Season 82 WV first match between the two great teams De La Salle Lady
Archers and Ateneo Lady Eagles making me back of how I totally idolize them, especially on how I react
on every points my ALE gets (sorry po kung bias ako hehe). Set 1 highlights totally surprise me because
of these rookies who played under DLSU, their service, how they attack, they really look like a pro in the
court but somehow, there are net violations like Dela Cruz did wherein the ball hit the net making that
point goes to ADMU. Ateneo LE needs to focus on their receiving part because the way they hit it, it’s
always going out of the court. One thing DLSU and ADMU good at is their blocking since both teams
really have their own what you called “towers” like Gagata, Ogunsanya, Tolentino, Nisperos and Gaston.
Also, most attack points of La Salle is always down the line which is their specialty, they should be
working on their attack errors too. Towers of Ateneo also had a big role in the game to avoid or block
the ball and to hit that to the other side with a lot of power to score. Both teams have a lot of errors like
in service, attack and net violations. The referee did his job enough to give the point to the right scorer.
All in all, Set 1 goes to DLSU Lady Archers with 25-17 and it is a great game for their first match.

UAAP Season 2 Men’s Volleyball – DLSU vs. ADMU Set 1 Highlights

It’s my first time to watch an ADMU vs. DLSU match game because I only watch ADMU when they had
their match with UST. But then as usual, ABE had their best shots every game and their specialty is
blocking, open-attack and cross-court attack. Most of DLGS violations are above or below the net and
attack error making that points goes to ABE. Though the blue and white team won the first set, they also
encounter a lot of violations like net and attack errors but all in all both teams and the referees did a
great job.
