 I. Profile of the Travel Agency

Circulo Travel and Tours is situated in Punta Dulog, Pueblo De Panay, Roxas City, Capiz. Circulo
Travel is a group of highly professional, experienced and seasoned professionals who offer the
best sea, air and land travel solutions for business and leisure. Circulo Travel offers excellent
services both in price and quality and stands out when it comes to meeting or exceeding the
client expectations. They offer services like issuing tickets for domestic and international travel,
tour packages for inbound and outbound travelers, pilgrimage or religious tours abroad,
educational tours, visa processing, passport renewal, and other related travel services.

II. Evaluation of the itinerary

 Pace
The tour package is a day tour which means the duration of the tour will only be for 1 day and it
cost P1,399 per person. That being said there is no accommodation needed in this tour and will
have no overnight inclusion but the package itself is precious because it enables visitors to learn
more about the places they visit than those who go on a whistle top tour of the bucket checklist of
sights and provides opportunities for travelers to interact with local people and the local culture in
ways that others can’t do.

 Interest
The tour is primarily based on the client interests and needs. In order to achieve the satisfactory
rate and exceed their expectations when they travel. The tour includes physical and practical
learning activities in which they will learn throughout the tour one of the examples are:
traditional farming, cooking, fishing, making of handicrafts and also exploration of the traditional
houses and visitors will have the chance to interact with the local cultural master.

 Details
The Capiz Eco-Park and Cultural Village is an eco-tourism site and cultural education facility where
visitors can experience the simple life and learn more about our culture. It is situated in Nagba
Cuartero Capiz. Capiz Eco- Park was established as a learning site to discover and study the
appropriate technologies on the Agroforestry Farming System from 1968 to 1987. Since then, the
park has been sustained by the succeeding provincial administrations and enriched with various
endemic and exotic species and varieties of perennial and annual plants and crops.
 Today, the Eco Park has an addition of different traditional houses, constructed with the help of
the Cultural Masters who are knowledgeable about the vernacular architecture of those houses,
as representations of indigenous.

 Energy
This is open for all children and adults who wished to take this tour. Especially, this tour is for family
vacation and the eco-park in Capiz is a perfect setting for a out of town getaway. This is an all-in
tour which means anyone can join this tour who wants to learn everything in a traditional setting
although it may be a tiring tour but it will surely benefit the visitors to gain experiential learning.

 Routing
The routing plan for this itinerary is simple and accessible in all areas of the destination in which the
loading and unloading process when traveling made it easier and on general terms the route itinerary
has lessen the transportation costs, providing clients with a more flexible budget and help them get
on time and reach the maximum number of destinations they can reach each day effectively.

The tour guide who will be placed on this tour depend on the availability of his/her schedule. At the same
manner, it also varies when will be the client book his/her tour. It is assured the tour guide is a DOT
accredited professional who has the capability to assess and guide the visitors.

IV. Interview notes

 As future tour guides, what is the importance of knowing how to interpret the itinerary?
The task of the tour guides is to entertain visitors to their region and inform about the the sights
that they are visiting. They help tourists to have a positive experience and take care of their
guests as good as they can. Similarly, on the same manner it is also very important that they
have the wise knowledge in interpreting their visitor itinerary simply because it will guide them
on which places they will be visiting and tour guides will identify what kind of information they
will be providing for the visitors to make the tour go smoothly.

 How can itinerary affect the experience of the visitors?

“It actually depends on the customer’s interest, so will be interviewing them what kind
of activities they prefer, which airlines they prefer to ride, how many days they are
going to stay, and most importantly is it going to be a budget friendly tour package for
them. After that, we will be advising them which itinerary is suitable for them so that we
will know that the tour experience will not be ruined.”
 What are the challenges will we encounter when we failed to follow the itinerary?
“One of the example for that is our client always need to be on time when they are
already on tour. When they visit a certain destination they should be following the time
in tour itinerary but if they happened to be having overtime in a certain place then the
tour route and time plan will be ruined.”
