ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe the effect of organizational communication on job satisfaction and organizational
commitment. This research was conducted on employees of PT PLN (Persero) Area Pasuruan. This study
was conducted to examine the effect of formal communication channels on employee job satisfaction,
informal communication to employee job satisfaction, formal communication to employees 'organizational
commitment, informal communication to employees' organizational commitment, and employee job
satisfaction to organizational commitment of employees. The type of research conducted is explanatory
research with quantitative approach. Population and samples in this study as many as 50 employees in
accordance with the number of employees in the company. Data analysis technique used in this research is
path analysis. The result of the research shows that the formal communication channel has an effect on the
employee's job satisfaction, the informal communication channel has an effect on the employee's job
satisfaction, the formal communication has an effect on the employee's organizational commitment, the
informal communication influences the employee's organizational commitment, and the employee's job
satisfaction influences the employee's organizational commitment.
