Wrok Experience
Wrok Experience
1. Job Title
What was your position (or job title) in the company? It’s also important to see if your
job title has a “fancy” alternative title. For example: Teacher = Educational Consultant,
Shop Clerk = Sales Assistant, Janitor = Sanitation Worker
2. Company Name
Include the full name of your company.
3. Company Location
You should include the city, province, and country (if it’s international). You don’t have to
include the street name or building name.
4. Years Worked
You should list the month and year you worked there (i.e. January 2007 – March 2009) –
the exact day is not necessary. If you are still working there, you should say when you
began the job and end with “present” (i.e. July 2011 – present)
5. Company Description
You should describe your company and where it is based from in no more than one
sentence. This is because not everybody will know the companies you have worked for in
the past. If you write too much, the employer may not care and get bored. For example:
Nike is an international shoe and sportswear manufacturer based in the United States.
Now it’s your turn – write about two of your work experiences. Start with your most
recent. If you have no work experience, create your own!
