Note: Attempt any four questions from Section A. Each question carries 15 marks. Section B
is compulsory and carries 20 marks.
Section A.
1, Define goods as per Sale of Goods Act, 1930. State the implied conditions in a Contract of Sale of
Goods.
2. Define Negotiable Instrument as per the provisions of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881
Discuss the provisions relating to negotiation and assignments.
What are the various provisions under the Companies Act, 2013, pertaining to the lifting of the
Corporate Veil ? Explain.
4, “Consumer Protection Act, 2019 has succeeded in its objective of consumer protection by
minimising exploitation of consumer.” Explain.
5. State briefly mutual rights and liabilities of partners in a Partnership Firm.
6. Discuss the offence of Hacking as Cyber Crime under Information and Technology Act, 2000.
Section B
7. Answer the following :
(a) Sunil induced Anil to buy his car saying that it was in a very good condition. After taking the
car, Anil complained that there were many deficits in the car. Sunil proposed to get
repaired and promised to pay 40% cost of repairs. After a few days, the car did not work at
all. Now Anil wants to rescind the Contract. Decide giving reasons.
(b) Husband promised a gold necklace to wife at the time of their marriage. Husband fails to
bring the necklace, Can wife claims the necklace ?
