Proposals to the New Philippine Constitution
Certain sectors of the Philippine society are now preparing for a new Philippine
Constitution. If you were given the chance to contribute to craft the New Philippine
Constitution, what would be your proposal?
1. Get a copy of the 1987 Constitution.
2. Write on the right side the items you would want changed, revised, or replaced on a
per item basis.
3. Write on the left side your proposal.
4. Provide Reason/s for your revision or proposal.

Under Duterte’s regime, the youth sector is being red tagged as terrorist because the
administration cannot see the difference between activism and terrorism. In the recent
event of abolishing the UP-DND Accord, it is a clear attack on the youth sector and
their academic freedom.

Having a good medical service is not a privilege but it is a right. The government
should have an adequate fund for the health for citizens. We all know how medical
fees is too much and it is the State’s duty to make it affordable for everyone.

The consultative body of indigenous people should be composed of people coming


from indigenous communities for they are the only ones that can tell their needs and
struggles, and the President should not take this lightly for they are great part of the
Filipino culture and community.
