2 Operation Instruction
● Setting the indoor temperature
When unit is in cooling mode, it is recommended that indoor temperature is 5℃ lower than the outdoor temperature. It is conducive to
preserve the electric power, setting the indoor temperature increase of 1℃ in cooling mode or reduce 2℃ in heating mode.
Too high or too low indoor temperature will make people feel uncomfortable; It is suggested that in cooling mode , setting temperature
range: 26~28℃, In heating mode, the setting temperature range18~23℃;
● Clean the air filter
If the filter is filled with dirt, will reduce the air flow volume, in worst condition will cause unit failure; if units stop running too long, it is a
must to clean the filter first;
● Close window and prevent the heat exchange between indoor and outdoor
When cooling and heating, try not to open window and door, prevent the heat exchange between indoor and outdoor;
To use curtain to prevent the sunshine directly enter inside of room;
● Keep necessary ventilation
To keep indoor air quality, from time to time, it shall let the fresh air into the room;
● To set up the On/Off timer
When sleeping or nobody in house, please set up the On/Off timer to switch off the air conditioning.

3 Unit Maintenance

! Warning
Before maintenance service, please shut off the power supply and stop indoor and outdoor units

4 Safety instruction
4.1 Safety notice items:
● When units are operating
Do not use any sharp article to press the bottom of controller;
Do not twist and pull the cable of controller;
Do not use any chemical detergent to clean the wiring controller;
Do not put any barrier between the inlet and outlet of air both indoor and outdoor units;
● When units are in failure
Do not repair by yourself, contact with the local service agents for help;
If the wiring controller or remote controller show the malfunction code, contact with the local service agents for help;
If any refrigerant leakage is found, stop the units and call the local service agents for help, and keep the inside room ventilated;
● Long time not use the air conditioning
To use the units again after a long time no usage of air conditioning, to run units in fan mode for 4~5 hours,
To shut off the power, do not the unit is in standby status;
When restart the units, please power on 6 hours in advance and let unit in standby status;
● To relocate the unit
To reinstall or move the units to other place, contact with the local service agents for help;
Improper installation will cause power leakage and fire disaster;
Improper installation will cause refrigerant leakage and hurt of human being and environment;
4.2 User instruction
Before using the inverter unit, the user must know the followings:
● Cooling mode, temperature range : Indoor 15~24℃ (WB), Outdoor -5~52℃ (DB) , relative humidity ≤ 90%.
● Heating mode, temperature range : Indoor 15~27℃ (DB), Outdoor -23~15.5℃ (WB) , relative humidity ≤ 90%.
● Voltage fluctuation range,Fluctuations in grid frequency range and phase voltage unbalance rate:
Voltage fluctuation range is within ±10%; Fluctuations in grid frequency range is within ±1% (Applied for all units);
Phase voltage unbalance rate between any two phases shall be below 2% of the rated voltage (applied for 3-phase units).
● Refer to the indoor controller manual to know how to control the indoor unit operation mode;
● Storage temperature of unit is -25℃ ~65℃.
● If user can not solve the failure problem, contact with the local service agents for help;
● Please keep the children away from the units;
● Only professional technician can do the installation , maintenance and reparation;
● All the indoor units power shall be supplied unified , shut off the main power switch before any maintenance;
● When select outdoor units, do the selection properly ; The total capacity of the indoor unit should be controlled during 0.5 to 1.3 times the
capacity of the outdoor unit, and indoor unit should also be considered the coefficient of simultaneous using and capacity loss of long
connecting tube. If the capacity of the indoor units is too large, the room will cause the cooling or heating capacity of each units
insufficient.
● To prevent the inference of TV , radio and audio;
● Do not put any article at location of air inlet and outlet of indoor units;
● Indoor units shall not be set up to impact each other;

6
● Do not put any article at location of air inlet and outlet of outdoor units;
● Do not touch any sharp edge of fins and panel etc;
● Do not use the leakage testing detergent;
● When in low ambient temperature, add the electrical heater; When the bit5 in SW1 code of outdoor is OFF and the ambient temperature is
bellow 0 ℃, the default setting will control the auxiliary electric heating turn on automatically according to temperature difference of
indoor and setting, When the bit5 in SW1 code of outdoor is ON, the auxiliary electric heating must be turned on manually.

5 Troubleshooting
● If the followings unit malfunction occurred, please follow the below simple checking step to fix :
Symptom analyses Solution
Indoor temperature is higher (heating) or lower (cooling)
Compressor stop and but Re – set up the temperature
than setting temperature
fan work normally
When heating and defrost mode, indoor unit is just running Waiting for 10minutes
Power off Check and connect the power
Units do not work Set up the re-start function Wait or cancel timer On
Fuse broken in main power supply Replace the fuse
Cooling or heating not Air filter too dirty Clean or replace the filter
enough or too much Return air barrier Remove the barrier
Low battery Replace the battery
Remote controller unreadable
Wrong installation of battery Install properly
Condensing water in front Humidity too high Dehumidify
panel Setting temperature too low Set the higher indoor temperature
● If user can not fix the problem, please contact the local service agent for assistance, meanwhile record the malfunction code by wired
controller and indication light of units self-checking function; Following is the malfunction code could display in the wired controller:
Indication light twinkle related to the code of malfunction:
● When a wired controller is used for control, it displays fault codes. The following table provides fault codes on the wired controller and
lamp panel. When the PC software is used to monitor operating of the inverter air conditioner unit, the PC directly displays these fault
causes. These codes make maintenance rather convenient, saving both time and expense. In addition, faults of the outdoor unit are also
displayed on the digital tube of the outdoor unit control board. When characters in the table are displayed on the digital tube, see Basic
Character Legends for Reference.

The following symptoms are not faults of the units:

Sometimes odorous gases blow out of units because tobacco smoke, cosmetic odor, and odors from furniture and electrical appliances are
taken into the units. You may hear fizzles when the air conditioner is cooling, heating, started, or stopped. The sounds are generated when
refrigerant flows in the unit.

6 Status Display of Digital Tubes

Four 8-section 4-bit digital tubes (red) are configured for the outdoor unit. In the normal running status, the digital tube displays the current
running mode or status. Once any fault occurs, the fault code is displayed first. If multiple faults occur, they are displayed in turn. For the specific
fault codes, see “Unit Troubleshooting” in part 5.
Note: The digital tube will go out when you do not operate any button within 10 minutes. Normal display is retuned if any button is pressed. This
restriction does not take effect when any fault occurs. The digital tube will display the fault continuously.

2. Heating condition: Indoor D/W bulb Temp. 20/15℃,outdoor temperature: D/W bulb Temp.7/6℃;
3. The noise level is tested in the incomplete anechoic lab under the standard refrigeration condition and got from the value, that from a point
is half of the unit height plus I meter in front of the unit. The real noise value in operation may be a little higher than the tested value due to
the influence of the actual environment; Testing power supply: 380V/3N~/50Hz
4. The width is just for the unit, not including the width of bottom edge.
