Outcomes (CLO) At the end of this course students will be able to:
1. Analyse the concepts and theories of the structure and major systems of the earth.(C4,
PLO1)
2. Describe the origins of earth, solar system and celestial objects through presentation. (C4,
PLO1, PLO4, CS1)
3. Relate the systems of the earth, effects of the movement of the earth, moon and sun with
the phenomena on earth and in outer space. (C4, PLO1, PLO3,CTPS1)
4. Analyse the data of observations to explain natural phenomena based on practical work
done in groups. (C4, A5, PLO2, PLO3, PLO5, CTPS1, TS4)
5. Discuss critically and analytically about the history of astronomy, contributions of
astronomers as well as the development of theories and outer space technology with

Synopsis the earth, as well as the historical development of astronomy, the solar system, celestial
objects and phenomena, and space exploration.

Kursus ini membincangkan tentang Bumi dan angkasa lepas. Ia meliputi struktur, asal usul
dan sistem-sistem utama Bumi dan juga sejarah perkembangan astronomi, sistem suria,
objek-objek dan fenomena samawi, dan penerokaan angkasa lepas.
