Challenges faced with Ghost kitchens

As two sides of a coin there are positives and negatives. Let’s

discuss some challenges which are faced by Ghost kitchens.
1 Technological Expenses
Huge technological costs arise in a Cloud kitchen. Many
software related cost like cost on delivery apps arises in cloud
kitchen. There are cloud-based solutions which allow
restaurants to go high-tech without any major upfront costs.
But there is a huge monthly subscription cost.
2 Hygiene
This is a challenge which can be simply avoided by the
functionaries of cloud kitchen. But many time companies fail
to setup and function in a hygiene way. The business may
collapse if it is caught for lack of hygiene for example the lassi
shop incident where the entire chain was affected due to
unhygienic situation in one of its factory.
3 Delivery delicacy
There are many types of foods whose tastes may get lost if it
is not consumed immediately after preparation. Delivery time
may take up to 30 minutes. This time may destroy the taste
of the food and you may not be able to keep it hot or cold as
the situation demands.
4 Food only plays the important role
In a normal restaurant there are many factors which effects
the business like the location of the hotel accessibility,
ambiance etc. But in a cloud kitchen food matters the most.
So, in order to create satisfaction to customers the quality
and cost of the food is very important.
5 Difficulty as a startup
In the online business It is more difficult to show an existence
in a restaurant location places a great role. Its concept is like
this locate in a good place serve great food people will come
in but in cloud kitchen model we have to get a space from
already established ones like, Swiggy, zamoto so huge
advertisement should be done in order to make the
customers to know the existence. The branding is very much
important in cloud kitchens.
