Personal Statement

At a store with many excellent associates, I am sure that I always stood out as an excellent member of
the team. While completing my bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphic Design, with a major in Engineering,
and working part time at the retail store, I quickly adapted and contributed to my responsibilities with a
constant display of my analytical and detailed-oriented skills. I have a proven talent for planning and directing
large-scale analysis from various sources which were crucial to the success and timely completion of multiple
projects.

I have an outgoing personality and exceptional ability to express ideas orally and in writing which
were evident when I provided the entire store crew with basic-descriptive and current reports that were used as
the guide for the inventory project. My excellent critical thinking made me a subject matter expert, quickly
analyzing and evaluating difficult situations before judging and making any decisions under pressure.

In every single task, I constantly displayed my experience with assembling, collating, applying,
modifying established practices to specific problems, formulating the hypothesis, researching and collecting the
facts, conducting the analysis and developing solutions. I provided retail support and loss prevention assistance.
During the four years as a team member of the store associates, I sanitized spaces, collected information from
daily inventory and in store surveillance, processed and analyzed data collected thoroughly, and disseminated
information collected to my superiors demonstrating my unconditional motivation. My primary responsibility
was to do customer service and inventory, which included painting, cleaning spaces, lifting heavy equipment
and assisting managers as needed. However, I believe that my outstanding judgment and decision making
were an instrumental contribution, allowing the store to make significant improvements at the mall and enabling
services during Covid-19 pandemic.

Though I was working outside of his career path, I evinced a tremendous amount of initiative and
motivation. I did everything possible to contribute to the team’s goal working many times passed my working
hours to meet deadlines. In addition, by virtue of my determination, interpersonal skills and cooperation, I
developed a wonderful working relationship with the other members of the team. My ability to work well with
all my coworkers greatly increased the possible scope of my contributions, and my mature, professional
approach to monitoring and completing my work allowed me to work autonomously and effectively.

It is also worth noting that I have a passion to work for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and it is
probably inherited from my family background, as my mother as my role model. She is Ex Military and now a
current member of the FBI whereas my cousin works with the FBI as well as an Evidence Technician. My
brother works Security & Loss Prevention with AAFES/DoD, and my father works for the US Coast Guard. My
coworkers had personally communicated to former supervisors and family members about how they greatly
admired my talent, work ethic, and sincerely enjoyed working with me, as I did with them. I will be a great
asset to the agency (FBI).

Sincerely,
Daniel Cardona
