a) What are the principal’s perceptions of the importance of technology?
b) Do principal’s perceptions of technology differ by years of experience and
gender?

Purpose of the research:


The study aims to focus on how principals view the importance of technology and how
it affects the integration of technology successfully in education. The research was also
looking for any correlation in gender and experience of principles and their perceptions
of technology in education.

METHODOLOGY
What is the methodology for the research or approach used to understand the
issue? Provide information regarding the following:

Procedures:
The researchers interviewed 310 principles and categorized their answers for a valid
conclusion.

Data Collection Methods/Data Source:


Only survey answers are used as data. They used the cognitive interview questionnaire
with qualitative and quantitative questions.

Data Analysis:

Data reduction is used in the analysis of data. After reading of data several times, the
responses are coded into meaningful categories.
