Nowadays, the way many people interact = communicate with each other has changed
because of technology. In what ways has technology affected the types of relationships

and in the workplace) that people make? Has this become a positive or negative development?

On the one hand, the application of technology in communication / has brought about
significant changes in the relationshipS in the family and in the workplace. In terms of
family bonds, in the past, it wasis difficult for parents to visit or communicate with their
kids livingand opposite when their children studied aboard or living in their own house due to
the underdeveloped networks and they had to spend a large amount of time to travel from place
to place. With the developed technological advancesy nowadays, family members can easily
interact with each other through social media such as skypee, facebook or sending emails
without worrying about the far distance and the cost of time=> geographical distance and
travelling costs. Regarding the workplace, if in the past, people wereare forced to arrived at
the workplace to be able to do their jobs, then now they can just simply stay at home but

In the past, the ways of interaction with others were very limited. For example, if you want
to speak with your friend, you would have to go directly to here house or send her a
message which may take a few days to get a response=> informal language => For example,
forms of communication such as letters and mailing used to be very time-consuming and
expensives; however,. Nnowadays, it seems easier for everyone to interact with their
relatives through emails, mobile messages, phone calls, etc. and no longer need to visit a
relative or friend to get updates. Besides personal communications, the communications at
the workplace also becomes more convenient and effective. Telephones and Internet allow
business people in different countries tocan easily interact without ever meeting each other.
Moreover, service like Email or Messenger create new possibilities for colleagues to update
jobs quickly with other team members and collaborate with each other without

Advanced technology has transformed our the ways of communication and influenced
relationships in the family and in the workplace. In my opinion, it brings more positive
effects. The principal way in which technology has been affected relationships in the family
is that they can interact with each other despite at a long distance rather than face-to-face.
Parents can see their children who are studying in othersthe cities even while they are in
hometown.
=>Firstly, family members can stay in touch with those living far away through means of
communication such as social media platforms or video calls. Such a convenience would allow
them to maintain their relationships effectively despite geographical barriers.
The development of technology has made it easier to communicate across the world that
relatives can keep in touch even whom in Vietnam and one in US. It just take a few minutes
for one call away instead of a month-long letter sent by post. In terms ofIn relationships at
the workplace, technology has changed traditional meetings to flexible online meetings all
around the world through work support applications such as Zoom, Team,... Moreover,
