ACTIVITY
Planning a Social Campaign
Instruction: Create a legitimate change.org campaign and accompany it with a website that will promote the
campaign and supply more information about the campaign. Create a concept paper about this social campaign.
The following will be required for this project:
1. A website or a blog that will promote and explain what the campaign is all about.
2. Pictures that will accompany the website or blog
3. At least infographic posted on the website (requires research either through simple surveys or using
secondary data.
4. A Facebook fan page about the event that will help your audience meet and collaborate.
5. Write content of your concept paper on the space provided.

CONCEPT PAPER:

According to the Department of Natural Resources, the Philippines has endeavored to

improvement its management of solid waste through the passage of RA 9003 or the Ecological Solid
Waste Management Act which provides a systematic, comprehensive and ecological waste management
program to ensure the protection of the public health and the environment. Yet, in our community it is
nearly visible that the people don’t practice the proper waste management. In this campaign, we aims to
educate the people to be aware about this issue.

Our team aims to create a website, a Facebook fan page, and a Facebook group to achieve
our goals. We are going to post infographics, blogs and other ways to inform the people about this
campaign. The scope of this campaign is the people, especially in our community. We will requiring two
weeks for the preparation to start this campaign, we will start collecting information and data that we can
spread for their awareness. The expenses may include the printed papers, laptops or computers, internet
connections and other campaign materials needed.
