ACTIVITY 1
Social Campaign
Instruction: Conceptualize a social campaign. Follow the guidelines below.
1. What are the things that could be better in your school or community? List down five things. You can
also interview members of the community.
2. Choose one of the five things you have listed that you think is of highest priority and demands
immediate action of change.
3. Create a write-up about this problem similar to Change.org petitions. Write it on the space provided.
4. Refer to the rubrics on how you will be graded.

There are different problems that we are facing in our daily lives even before this pandemic came.
Although it seems to be cliché, this social compaign is all about Proper Waste Management and Proper
Waste Disposal. It needs to be practice even at home. In our community, I always noticed the waste that
are scattered. They are not even segregated. Based on my own observations, every 10 P.M. at night,
they put all their waste in front of our street without arranging and at the morning, the garbage
collectors are so unsatisfied because they need to segregate those waste and remove all the things that
can be recycled and wastes that can be used in decomposing. This campaign will educate people about
proper waste management and also for them to know the benefits of segregating wastes.
