CURRICULUM EVALUATION AND RECOMMENDATION

The teachers under in this department were able to submit and let the coordinator checked their modules
before it will be passed to the photocopier. But when it comes to the making and submission of the Curriculum
Map, it wasn’t realized and submitted on the time designed due to the lack of time to prepare since this modular
learning gives a very hard adjustment for the teachers. After the distribution of modules, the sorting of modules
retrieved and checking of answers will follow and left it unfinished because we need to prepare the next
module.
But even with this situation, we still see to it that the competencies present in the MELCS must be taken
up in our learning modules and still aligned to the standards. We tried to adjust the discussion in a brief but
concise content just to fit the allotted 5 to 7 pages in every module. As to activities, each module has 2 to 3
activities just enough to be answered by the students and could not give them a hard time.
Intervention Programs were given to those students who need to have a special attention and additional
activities due to following reasons:
-were not able to get the modules on time because f the parents availability
-were not able to answer the modules and submit it on time because of lack of interest by the students
and lack of support from the parents
-were not able to take the exams because of money matters
But these concerns were addressed by the subject teacher, the class adviser and also by the guidance advocate.
Hence, I could say that for this school year, this serves as a learning experience since we are on the pace
of adjustment and stranger to this modality. Maybe by the next school year is less difficult since we have
already our printed modules which is still applicable for modular learning.
