The past few decades have seen an increasing public awareness concerning that fact
that economic progress is a essential way to measure the success of the country.
Although there are some advantages of using that way. I still embrace the opinion
that other factors are just important as economic progress.

Admittedly, a healthy economic growth give rise to the job creation， a high level
employment and better salaries of all citizens. without the satisfaction of basic
economic needs for people，parents could not bring their children up， the steady
society could not be maintained.

However， there are various of other forms of progress are just significant as
economic factor. Social justice，to human rights and equality are important factors to
measure the success of a country. For example, the treatment of minority is the key
consideration to see the level of development of a society. In addition to this, seeing
how well a country protect the natural environment is a main factor to judge the
progress of a modern country. Finally, the health, well-being and happiness of a
country's resident could be measured as a judgement of the success.

In conclusion, I would like to reaffirm my position that the other form of progress
such as social, environmental and health criteria are equally significant as the
economy factor.
