Infrared Circuits
Fire Detector Circuit
Remote Control Circuit
The Infrared Circuit on the next page ACTIVATES when

CollegeOfScripting.weebly.com
INFRARED ENERGY is shown to the IR RECEIVER BULB.
With Adult supervision, a person can test the Fire
Detector Circuit using a Lighter. The Infrared energy
from the flame of the lighter will be detected
up to 15 feet away. Infrared is a higher frequency than
red light. Infrared light wavelength is 700nm to 1mm.
This same Infrared Circuit is also a Remote Control
Detector. This means that you can now trigger your
circuits using a Remote Control from up to 15 feet
away!

Let’s say we have a ‘broken’ Resistor,
that we cut from a circuit board.
