using extensive PT technology.

Our engineers have trained directly under Dr. Bijan Alami, the father of Post Tensioning, at
the Imperial College of London, UK, to bring the absolute best of technical knowledge to our
clientele.

Our PT execution team is supervised by PMP Certified project managers to ensure strict
quality, time and budget adherence to ensure our clients get the best work, in the time
promised and at the cost promised.

Project Description

The project consists of:

 Basement, LGF, GF + 18 roofs
 PT in beams and slabs are as per indication in the drawings received
 The purpose of the structure is commercial/office with parking

Scope of Work

The price quoted includes the following:

1. Performing Structural design for the slab and beams for conventional design as well
as PT considering a live load of 4 Kn/sqm. using the latest updated software and
according to the latest updated relevant building codes
2. Preparing construction drawings:
 Indicating the framing plan, reinforcement & slab details of the PT slab
area.
 Showing PT strand profile in the areas marked in the drawing for PT
 Showing the pre-tension provided on the PT strands.
3. Providing and fixing of Un-Bonded PT system using TATA brand as per design
provided.
4. Installation of the PT system including wires, ducts, anchors and wedges.
5. Stressing of the PT cables and grouting after the designed curing time.
6. The PT strands shall be supplied with a manufacturer’s test certificate as a mark of
quality check from our side.
7. The equipment deployed at the site shall be the property of NMRD and in any case
the same shall not be withheld by the client/project owners, for whatever cause.
8. The entire material shall be brought once only, received by our team and stored on
the site.
 Material brought to the site shall be supplied at the location desired by us. If per
chance the same is stacked somewhere else due to the need of the
owners/clients, then the transportation charges shall be borne by the
owner/client.
9. All responsibility of the safety of the labour and officials deployed for our work, on
the site shall be of our company.
10. The owners shall provide complete drawings at the beginning of the contract. No
major changes after this release shall be allowed. Any change if desired shall have to
be chargeable before the change is executed.

1. Rates include all transportation to and from the site of material, equipment and
manpower.
2. All payments must include bill amount + GST. Deduction of TDS on the actual bill
amount as per govt. norms, may be done. Any tax or deposit required to be deposited
by the owner/client shall be done by them with no implication to NMRD.

Mode of Measurement
Measurement will include the total kg of LRPC strand installed before casting of concrete.
Measurement shall not be done on area basis

Escalation Terms

The rates are based on the Ex-Factory rate of Strand purchase at 91 Rs/kg plus GST. At every
purchase this price shall be confirmed with the client and the net bill shall be adjusted
according to the purchase rate.

Exclusions from Scope

The following activities are out of our scope:
1. Electricity shall be provided by the client free of cost including distributing it where it
is required by our team.
2. Water for our teams on site shall be provided by the client/owners.
3. Labour accommodation shall be provided by the client/owners on the site or at a
reasonable walking distance from the site, free of cost. Food expenses shall be borne
by NMRD.
4. Any clearance required on any part of the project including certifications of designs,
clearances of materials to be brought to the site, labour & other environmental
clearances shall be done by the clients/owners.
5. Any clearances required from local bodies/govt authorities to carry out the said work
including loading, unloading of materials and the work to be performed, shall be in
scope of the client/owner. NMRD shall not liaison of any kind with anybody to carry
out part or whole of the said work.
6. Framing, binding TOR steel reinforcement, concreting etc. is not part of our scope.
7. The quality check and quality control of any other materials and workmanship except
our materials is not in our scope.
8. The design strength of concrete, must be ensured on site with proper compaction
and pond curing for at least 10 days, so as to justify our design. A strength
compromise in the slab or beam concrete due to any reason shall not be our fault.
