Covenants
“No truck, camper, motor
home, trailer, boat, or vehicle
of any type may be parked,
kept, or stored on any lot
except in the garage or
screened area behind the
building line of the tract for
more than forty-eight (48)
hours during any seventy-two
(72) hour period.”
Please make sure you are
complying with this restriction.
Park Etiquette
Please remember to pick up
and dispose of your dog ’s
waste. Also remember to throw
trash from water bottles and
picnicking in the containers
provided at the park.
Are We There Yet?
Are you finally feeling like things are starting to get back to
normal after the year 2020? Well, we are also getting back to
normal with the HOA by having our first meeting since the
pandemic. We will be holding a general meeting on Thursday,
June 17th, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church in
the education building located on the east side of the church.
Please join us to get updates from your board, have your voice
heard, and to make a difference in our community. We are looking
forward to seeing you at the meeting!
Freedom Walk and Fireworks Display
The Park at Southwood will hold its annual Freedom Walk at the
walking path at 9:00 a.m. on July 4th for those who want to walk,
ride, pull a wagon, or push a stroller. Let the kids decorate their
rides and showcase them as they travel our beautiful paved path
at the park. Later in the evening, enjoy food truck cuisine,
bounce house fun for the kiddos, and a grand fireworks’ display.

Raising the Standard

Desirable neighborhoods start with well-maintained homes.
It is time to take a good look at your house from the street
and see what you can do to help raise the standard. Two
ways that can make an immediate difference are painting
home exteriors and lawn care. What a tremendous
difference a coat of paint can make your home…and while
