A] FOUSB folder
This FOUSB folder consists of following contents as shown in the below screen-
B] And “Prietest Touch” folder
This “Prietest Touch” folder consists of following contents as shown in the below screen-
“INSTALLATION OF FOUSB DRIVERS”
To install the USB Drivers for FOUSB follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1:
Place JP4
jumper
Remove
JP1 jumper
Remove 26
pin FRC
Optical cable
Disconnect 5V
printer power
supply
Connect USB cable from USB output of instrument to USB socket of computer.
Once this connection is done switch ON the instrument.
If the steps are followed as above then the screen of the instrument will appear to be blank, which
implies that the steps followed are correct.
Step 2:
Use following procedure to install FOUSB.
1. Right Click on “My Computer” and select Manage option as shown below-
6. It will ask the user whether to search the drivers automatically or browse for the path for updating
the software.
7. Select ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ – Locate and install driver software manually.
8. It displays the screen as shown below. Select “Browse’’ button. In “Browse” provide the path
of USB Drivers .
(Remember, these drivers are present in FOUSB folder present on the desktop).
This path is visible in small window, which is adjacent to “Browse” button.
9. After selecting ‘Browse’ button it will display the browse window as shown below. This window
helps the user to browse for the appropriate path.
16. Finally windows have successfully installed the “Renesas Flash-Over-USB for M30245F”
Click on “Close” button to close the Windows.
17. In ‘Universal Serial Bus controllers’, user can view the status of drivers installation
“Renesas Flash-Over-USB for M30245F” (ie. USB Drivers for FOUSB)

Connect USB cable from USB output of instrument to USB socket of computer.
Once this connection is done switch ON the instrument.
29. Ensure that whether you have selected “Erase→ Program → Verify” from Choose an Operation
and also “Erase *ALL* Blocks” from Erasing Option; if not select the corresponding radio
buttons as shown in the following screen.
30. Click on ‘Program’ button.

37. Now select “Install USB Driver” option present on the LCD. Select ‘YES’ to install the
USB Drivers for Prietest Touch.

38. After selecting “YES” option, it will detect the new Hardware on the computer as shown
below. It will display the screen as shown below -
(*NOTE: This pop-up messages appears only for a fraction of seconds)
39. At the same time, it will display following screen on the LCD

3 Program
4 Clear NVRAM
41. Now select “Update Driver Software…..” option as shown in the following screen-
42. It will ask the user whether to search the drivers automatically or browse for the path for updating
the software.
43. Select ‘Browse my computer for driver software’ – Locate and install driver software manually.
44. It displays the screen as shown below. Select “Browse’’ button. In “Browse” provide the path
of USB Drivers
(Remember, these drivers are present in ‘Readwell Touch’ folder present on the desktop).
This path is visible in small window, which is adjacent to “Browse” button.
45. After selecting ‘Browse’ button it will display the browse window as shown below. This window
helps the user to browse for the appropriate path.
46. Select ‘Pritest Touch’ folder present on the desktop.
47. Select specific location (ie. user needs to select USB Drivers from “Pritest Touch” folder present
on the desktop) and then Click on “OK” button.
48. Click on “Next>” button to proceed further.
49. Following screen appears once you browse for the appropriate path.
53. In ‘Universal Serial Bus controllers’, user can view the status of drivers installation
(ie. USB Drivers for Pritest Touch)
54. Similarly, it will display following screen on the LCD.
USB driver installation completed.
Please Re-start the instrument……….
In this way after following the above procedure of Installation for USB Drivers, it will activate the
Application used for loading the *.bin file (i.e. Send2pt802E.bin file)
55. Switch OFF the Instrument.

Programming Procedure of “*.bin” file for Pritest Touch
To load “*.bin” ie. “Send2pt802E.bin” file follow the steps mentioned below:

61. After selecting the Read option it will change the USB Status from
“Device Interface Dis-connected to “Device Interface Connected”
66. Wait till all the contents of the bin file is transferred to the instrument.
67. Close the Application when “Please Wait ……Reading….” String is disappeared from LCD.
68. Select “Program” from the LCD.

Disconnect the 5V printer power supply of the Printer.
Disconnect 5V
printer power

Connect USB cable from USB output of instrument to USB socket of computer.
All the above steps have already been done for programming earlier mot file .. just ensure that
connections are as shown in the pictures
Once this connection is done switch ON the instrument.
72. To load the “2.804_B_RBK.mot” file follow the steps mentioned below:
82. Ensure that you have selected “Erase→ Program → Verify” from Choose an Operation
and also “Erase *ALL* Blocks” from Erasing Option; if not select the corresponding radio
buttons as shown in the following screen.
83. Click on ‘Program’ button.
Remove the
jumper JP4
87. Now connect all the cables that were removed while
programming.
88. Connect the 5V printer power supply.
89. Connect the optical 26 pin FRC cable.
90. Connect the printer 26 pin FRC cable.
91. Check whether both the Jumpers JP1 is Short and JP4 is removed are there respective
positions or not.
