STRUCTURED LEARNING EPISODE

A. Facilitator’s Guide

I. Rationale

One of the most exciting games in kindergarten is the Memory Game. It is a


great exercise to train children’s memory. It helps them memorize the locations of
different cards, thus reinforcing and boosting their visual memory storage capacity in
a playful way.

The Memory Game activity card will serve as a guide for kindergarten
teachers, kindergarten coordinators, and school heads facilitate the conduct of the
activity to the diverse set of kindergarten pupils.

II. Objective

At the end of the session, the participants are expected to conduct the Memory
Game correctly.
III. Description

Memory Game is a card game in which all of the cards are laid face down on a
surface and two cards are flipped face up over each turn. The object of the game is to
turn up pairs of matching cards.

Twenty (20) minutes
