A or D.

It is more important for a student to study math and science than grammar and literature

Have you ever heard someone saying it is by far more important to study math and science subjects for
a kid in school? Well, I have many times. Usually, the people who contend that are the ones who live in
an academic bubble in the science field. I strongly believe that students should learn both the exact
sciences and literature and grammar since the real-world is made of both and that would make the
students learn how to make a proper writing.

First, it is imperative for students to learn math and science and grammar a literature since the real-
world is made up of both. In order to succeed one has to learn how to properly express oneself and the
math behind our everyday activities. For instance, I once met a boy who was outstanding solving
mathematical equations and physical problems. Nonetheless, he did not know how to express himself
and have a regular conversation. He always rejected the grammar and literature subjects at school
stating it did not make any sense studying it. Now, he cannot find a proper job as he cannot even
develop a conversation in a job interview. If he had only dedicated more time to the literature subjects
he would be ready for the real-world and he would not have any problem communicating himself.

Second, it is a must to dedicate the exact same amount of time to math and science and grammar and
literature as the second group of subjects would enhance the writing of a student. We have always seen
people who make such fatal grammatical errors without realizing how bad it looks. Making such
mistakes could deter a university accepting the student when sees that they make such mistakes in a
formal writing. One personal experience is a compelling illustration of this. According to my dad, an
uncle of mine did not care about the literature and grammar subjects in school. He used to say it was
nonsense learning it. The time passed by and when he wanted to apply to one of the best-known
universities in my home country, Ecuador, he was rejected. The reason: his writing. When the university
asked him to write an essay of himself, he made such grammatical mistakes that the university rejected
him suggesting that a high-profile student would never have such a writing. He did not study for an
undergraduate degree.

To sum it all up, it is imperative for students of any level to study both math and science and grammar a
literature. That would provide the students with the tools for a successful career as that would teach
them how to properly write and express oneself and many more competencies needed for the real
world.
