Dear Sir,
The project targets youths aged 13-24 years and aim to achieve the following:
In collaboration with the FORD foundation and other likeminded organization, we had hoped, by the
end of the year 2020, to carry out the following activities:
• To conduct a survey to assess knowledge and attitude towards corruption and integrity among
students in 5 schools where this program is to be piloted;
• To recruit and train a cohort of 20 Integrity champions on facilitation skills, leadership skills and
integrity related issues;
• To conduct Integrity rallies at these institutions and to host an end-year grand conference cum
festival at these institutions; and
• To develop content (songs, spoken word and other artist material) to be aired on socio and
mass media platforms.
The COVID-19 pandemic in Kenya led to the closure of academic institutions across the country making it
difficult for us to proceed as planned. We are passionate about our country and the legacy we hope to
see in future generations. We hereby seek your support in the following areas:
1. Participation of members of your Youth group in the webinar series that we are running at 7pm
every 2 weeks, starting July 29, 2020.
2. Participation of members of your Youth group in the publicity and recruitment of other youths
within their area of Influence to the webinar series and the Integrity champions program.
3. Participation of members of your Youth group in the Uadilifu ni nguvu TV program that shall be
recorded at the end of August and early September. Your youth will be expected to develop
poetry, spoken word and music that promotes Integrity during this series and prepare a 1-hour
program on the same. They can also invite panelists within your area of influence to articulate
these ideas.
4. Participate in the Integrity survey and invite others within their sphere of influence to participate.
5. Collaborate with the Nairobi Adventist Ensemble foundation in supporting Integrity clubs in
schools within your sphere of influence.
6. Participate in our 1,000 Voices for Kenya: Uadilifu ni nguvu concert cum conference to be held
in February 2020 at the Kenyatta International conference center to show case the things that
your Youth group has developed on Integrity over the six month period.
Feel free to guide us on aspects of this request you are able to participate in.
As a foundation we realize that the legacy we shall leave for our children and our children’s children
with be founded on investments made today in terms of values and norms that are shared. These values
of integrity, hard work, loyalty, and love of our country as best learned during the early years of an
individual’s life. We know that these issues resonate with you and we look forward to an opportunity to
meet with you to discuss these issues further.
Yours sincerely
