Time Management "Your Future Is Created by What You Do Today, Not Tomorrow."
An anecdote from my life, to be precise, last week, I think will be enough to depict
the unparalleled value of time in a student’s life. We all had 4 chapters to study for
Social Science. I was pretty relaxed thinking only 4 chapters, Easy work, yet I sat
down to study at 3:30. Once I started studying, I was slow thinking I would enough
time to complete all the chapters. But, time flew by and by 7:30, I was in a really big
problem as I had completed only 1 chapter. I sat down, increased my pace of reading
the chapters and had soon completed 3 chapters by the end of the day, due to which
I had to get up at 6:30, to read the remaining one chapter. So, if I had started well
that day, maybe I could have had another half an hour of peaceful sleep on the exam
day.
A famous proverb says, “Time and Tide wait for none.” Time management teaches
patience and how to tackle difficult tasks in a given space of time. It teaches you how
to make the most of your valuable time and increases your productivity and
efficiency. Most of the famous personalities, be it Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, they knew
the value of time and the importance of time management. Just like tasty Biriyani is a
mixture of chicken, rice, salad and other ingredients similarly success is a mixture of
time management and hard work. If time management is removed from that recipe,
the fruits will be bitter.
So, I would like to conclude my speech saying, “Time is like an exception. Lost money
can be gained again by industry, lost education can be gained by study, but lost time
cannot be gained back. So spend every second of your valuable childhood in the best
possible way, striking a good time balance between study and play.”
Thank You!!
