1 Mukhyamantri Krishak Durghatna Kalyan Yojana
Launch Year: 2020
Launched By: Uttar Pradesh
Aim: To provide financial assistance to family of farmers who died or become handicapped while
working in fields.
Key Features:
• It offers financial assistance of five lakh rupees.
• It will cover farmers and their family members in the age group of 18-70 years.
• It will be a backdated scheme that would start from 14th September 2019.
• The scheme will also include the Bataidars, who work in the field of other persons and share
the crop after it has been harvested.

2 Kisan Asan Kist Yojana

Launched By: Uttar Pradesh

Key Features:
• Under the scheme farmers will be able to pay the due electricity bills of their tube wells in easy
installments.
• Farmers can pay their bill in six installments.
• After all the installments have been made, farmer’s interest will be forgiven.
• Benefits of the scheme are only for those farmers who pay their electricity bills on time.

3 Anganphou Hunba (Early Paddy Crop) Programme

Aim: To provide irrigation water by the Minor Irrigation Department to places having adequate arable
land and large number of farmers.

4 ‘Mera Pani Meri Virasat’ Yojana


Launch Year: 2020
Launched By: Haryana
Aim: To conserve water in state

Key Features:
• The incentives amounting to Rs 7,000 per acre would be given to farmers who quit paddy
cultivation in areas covered by the dark zone in the state.
• The incentive could be given in two instalments — 25% after verification of the crop sown
and 75% before harvesting.
• The incentive will be given only to Gram Panchayats. Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana

5 Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyaya Yojana
Launch Year: 2020
Launched By: Chhattisgarh
Aim: To stimulate the rural economy in the state, amid the slowdown caused by the Covid-19
pandemic.
Key Features:
• Under the scheme, The farmers would be paid Rs 10,000 per acre for paddy, corn and would
get ₹13,000 per acre for sugarcane.
• The money would be distributed in four instalments.
• The State’s attempt was to meet the standards set by the Swaminathan Commission that
farmers must get 150% of their cost of production as MSP.

6 Mukhyamantri 1 Bigha Scheme

Launched By: Himachal Pradesh
Aim: To empower around 1.5 lakh rural women by making them self-sufficient and employed under
MGNREGS

Key Features:
• This scheme would involve about 1.50 lakh womenfolk through 5,000 self-help groups.
• Under the scheme, each beneficiary woman will be entitled to get employment under
MGNREGS, besides training to upscale her skill, grants meant to level the hill land, channelise
water, set up a vermicompost pit and to purchase saplings and seeds.
• It is linked with the Centre’s Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme
(MGNREGS) where a woman or her family owning up to one bigha land can grow a backyard
kitchen garden.
• As per estimates, each woman is expected to get an annual cash incentive of Rs 1 lakh under
MGNREGS, which includes Rs 198/ day wage.
• The government’s task force and the Gram Rozgar Sewaks will monitor the beneficiaries.
• This scheme is bound to transform the rural economy of the state and also help in the
economic empowerment of the women at the grassroots level. ‘Panchvati Yojana’

7 Panchvati Yojana
Launch Year: 2020
Launched By: Himachal Pradesh
Aim: To enable senior citizens to spend their leisure time in these parks & gardens.

Key Features:
• Under the yojana, parks & gardens will be established in every development block with
mandatory facilities under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act
(MGNREGA).
• About 100 such parks will be developed in different parts of the state during FY 2020.

• Ayurvedic and medicinal plants will be grown, recreational equipment, walking tracks and
other basic facilities for elderly people will be provided.
• Every park will have a 500 to 1,000 metre concrete trek. Women self-help groups will be
allowed to sell their products in these parks.
• The 1st phase of these parks has been inaugurated in Gohar Development Block of District
Mandi and Bangana Development Block of Una district.
• The work on these parks has been started with the help of local labourers who receive daily
wages under MGNREGA.

8 Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Farmer Loan Waiver


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Maharashtra
Aim: To waive of the loans of the poor farmers of the state

Key Features:
• Under the scheme, short-term crop loan up to Rs 2 lakh taken by farmers between April 1,
2015 – March 31, 2019, and short-term restructured crop loan arrears up to September 30,
2019, will be waived.
• But if the principal crop loan amount taken during this period along with the interest
exceeds ₹two lakh, and which has not been repaid by September-end, then those farmers will
not be eligible for waiver.
• Those who pay tax on the income incurred from non-agriculture sector, pensioners whose
monthly income is more than ₹25,000, excluding former servicemen, will also not get the
benefit.

9 YSR Matsyakara Bharosa

Launched By: Andhra Pradesh
Key Features:
• Under the scheme, 1, 32,332 fishermen in the 21-60 age group will get an enhanced monetary
relief of Rs 10,000 each during the marine ban and lean period every year between April and
June.
• Also, subsidy on diesel has been enhanced under the new scheme from Rs 6.03 to Rs 9 per
litre, applicable to the mechanised (3000 Litres) and motorized boats (300 Litres) for 10
months every year.
• Also, Insurance cover for fishermen in the 18-60 age group has been doubled to Rs 10 lakh
each in case of accidental death.
• Chief Minister also distributed Rs 80 crore as assistance to 16,654 fishermen who were
affected by drilling operations of the then Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation for laying
pipelines in 2012 in Mummadivaram constituency.

10 Smart Village Campaign
Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Punjab
Aim: It aimed at improving the conditions in the rural areas by converging and supplementing the
ongoing Governmental Schemes for building infrastructure and providing essential amenities.

11 Atal Solar Krishi Pump Yojana


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Maharashtra
Implementing Agency: Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co Ltd
Aim: To reduce losses due to non-payment of electricity bills and also promote solar energy.

Key Features:
• Under the scheme, Maharashtra government will provide a subsidy of up to 95% on solar
pump sets.
• Maharashtra Government also plans to install one lakh solar pumps.
• Under the Scheme, farmers with less than five acres will have to pay 5% of the cost of a 3 HP
solar pump while farmers with more than five acres will get a 5 HP solar pump for Rs 30000.
• Maharashtra government has also decided to give two LED bulbs, a DC fan and a mobile
charging socket as freebies to farmers.

12 Krishak Bandhu Scheme


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: West Bengal
Aim: To address the farm distress in the state

Key Features:
• The scheme is introduced with the object of helping poor farmers and labourers who are often
deprived of sufficient crop production due to faulty farming practices.
• The scheme provides all farmers with a financial aid of Rs. 5,000 per acre on an annual basis,
which is to be paid in two instalments. The sum of money will be rendered during the sowing
of the Kharif crop and during the Rabi season.
• The scheme facilitates the provision of an insurance policy to all formers and agricultural
workers.
• The scheme also provides for a life insurance cover of Rs 2,00,000 in case of death, irrespective
of the cause, of an earning family member (farmer) aged between 18 and 60 years. Framers
are not required to pay any premium to avail the insurance benefit.
• The monetary benefits will be directly transferred to the bank account of the respective
beneficiary so that the assistance reaches out to the correct person. Moreover, such a practice
abates the role of a middleman.

13 Bangla Shashya Bima Scheme
Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: West Bengal
• The schemes was launched in collaboration with Agriculture Insurance Company of India.
Aim: To protect farmers from losses due to natural disasters and provide a steady income in case of
unstable market prices.

Key Features
• The applicants will not have to pay any premium amount to avail the benefits.
• On behalf of the farmers, the state government will bear the insurance premium under the
scheme.
• All the beneficiaries under this scheme would be paid insurance in 4 stages and the amount
would be calculated per hectare.
(i) For any losses suffered during planting
(ii) Losses suffered during cultivation
(iii) The losses occurred during the period post-cutting when crops are lying in the field
(iv) Losses caused due to adverse weather situations
• This crop insurance scheme will enable farmers to meet up their losses in case their crops get
damaged due to any reason.
• Through this scheme, the West Bengal Government aims to reduce the suicide rate of farmers
which occurs when farmers losses in their agriculture.
• This scheme will also prevent farmers from falling into the debt trap.

14 Jal Amrutha Scheme


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Karnataka
Aim: It aims to make people aware of the importance of conserving water and to prompt them to
come up with ways to avoid wastage of water.

Key Features:
• It is a water conservation scheme that will focus on drought-proofing measures, including
protection and rejuvenation of water bodies.
• Under the scheme, Karnataka government aims to rejuvenate 14,000 waterbodies and
building 12,000 check-dams in next two years.
• It will operate on a four-tier institutional structure with planning and execution committees
being set up at village, taluk, district and state levels.
• A State-level committee headed by the Chief Minister will be established for strategic
monitoring, convergence, policy and programmatic guidance and the committee will design
water conservation strategies for the State in consultation with all stakeholders.
• Under the scheme, scientific approaches will be deployed for water budgeting, water
harvesting and water conservation through the use of geospatial data, satellite imagery,
topographical and geological data.

• The state government has also declared 2019 as the Year of Water.

15 Meri Fasal Mera Byora


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Haryana
Aim: The scheme is launched for farmers. Farmers can directly avail crop related benefits of state
government schemes after self -reporting their land and crop-related details.

Key Features:
• Under the scheme, the farmers has to register on the portal and required to upload
information like the name of crop sown, area under cultivation, cropping month, bank account
number and mobile number at Common Service Centres or Atal Seva Kendras or with the help
of Village Level Entrepreneurs by 31st July.
• Each farmer, who registered on the portal get a financial incentive of Rs 10 per acre or part
thereof subject to a minimum of Rs 20 to maximum Rs 50.
• The portal www.fasalhry.in has brought the departments of agriculture and farmers welfare,
revenue, food civil supplies and consumer affairs and science and technology on a single
platform.

16 Saubhagyavati Scheme
Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Madhya Pradesh
Aim: To provide electricity to poor people
Key Features:
• The poor people will have to pay a fixed amount every month for electricity.
• Using of power will not affect the monthly electricity bills.

17 Mo College Programme
Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Odisha
Aim: To promote and facilitate volunteers to give back to Alma Maters (the university, school, or
college that one formerly attended)

18 Village Volunteers System


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Andhra Pradesh
Aim: It aims at providing government services at doorsteps of people
Key Features:
• Basic idea behind implementing scheme is to infuse confidence among people in government
and to see that their basic needs are met at their door-steps.
• Village secretariats would be set up in each village to deliver governance to people in 72 hours.

• The scheme will involve more than 2.8 lakh volunteers. Under it, 1 volunteer will cover 50
families in each village. Identity cards will be given to each volunteer and they would get an
allowance of Rs.5000 per month.
• Volunteers will 1st identify beneficiaries, get to know their problems, and then describe and
outline schemes being provided by government for them.
• Toll-free telephone number 1902 would be set up at call centre in Chief Minister Office (CMO)
to receive grievances of people.

19 Mukhya Mantri Vriddha Pension Yojana


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Bihar
Aim: To provide pension to poor people above 60 years of age in the state.
Key Features:
• Poor people above 60 years of age will get Rs 400 per month and those above 80 years will get
Rs 500 per month.
• The scheme will not cover retired government employees.

20 Chullah Free and Smoke Free Maharashtra


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Maharashtra
Aim: It aimed at providing smoke-free environment in the kitchen for women.
Key Features:
• The scheme will target the women who have not benefited under the Ujjwala or any other LPG
distribution scheme.
• The pilot project will be implemented in Naxal- affected areas as well as the districts where
farmer suicide rate is high.

21 Mukhya Mantri Aanchal Amrit Yojana


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Uttarakhand
Aim: To provide milk at the Anganwadi Centres.
Key Features:
• Under the scheme, 2.5 lakh children at 20,000 Anganwadi Centres in the state will be given
100 ml milk twice a week for free.
• Flavoured, sweet, skimmed milk powder will be made available to the 20,000 Anganwadi
Centres across the state.
• Children under six years of age in every Anganwadi Centres are eligible under the scheme.

22 Aponar Apon Ghar

Aim: It is a loan subsidy scheme which aims to provide financial assistance on purchase or
construction of the first house for a family.
Key Features:
• The subsidy up to 2 lakh 50 thousand rupees will be provided for loan amounts from five lakh
to 40 lakh rupees.
• This scheme is meant for the loan sanctioned in this financial year.
• The loan should have been sanctioned before March 31, 2019.

23 #10Hafte10Baje10Minute Campaign
Launch Year: 2019

Aim: To fight against dengue
Key Features:
• Delhi CM has appealed to Delhi residents to give 10 minutes every Sunday from September 1
till November 15, to ensure there is no stagnant water in their houses or surroundings to
prevent the breeding of dengue-career mosquitoes.
• After inspecting your home at 10am, call 10 of your friends and encourage them too to inspect
their homes.

24 Champions Campaign
Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Delhi
Aim: To fight against dengue and encourage people’s participation in the campaign.
Key Feature:
• Delhi CM urged people to encourage their friends to inspect their homes on Sunday to clean
stagnant water.

25 ‘Jan Soochna Portal’


Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Rajasthan
Aim: The aim is to bring transparency and accountability and empower the right of the people to seek
information.
Key Features:
• ‘Jan Soochna Portal’ has been launched under Rajasthan Innovation Mission (RAJIV).
• Rajasthan becomes the first state in the country to provide information about a dozen
departments on a single platform.

26 Mukhya Mantri Dal Poshit Yojana

Aim: To provide ration card holders 2 kg of pulses at subsidized rates every month.

27 Mukhyamantri Vyapari Samuhik Niji Durghatna Beema Yojana

Aim: To provide insurance coverage to the trading community
Key Features:
• The selected beneficiaries will be provided with a maximum coverage amount of Rs.5 lakhs, as
per the turnover slabs.
• In case of death of the beneficiary, then his/her family members can claim the full amount that
has been stated in the insurance paper.
• In case of permanent disability of the beneficiary in the accident, then the 100% insurance
coverage will be provided to the beneficiary.

28 Project Gaushala
Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Madhya Pradesh
Aim: To protect abandoned cows
Key Feature:
• People can adopt a cow for a minimum period of 15 days and can go on supporting it till
animal’s lifetime.

29 Ayushman Bharat – Mahtama Gandhi Rajasthan Swasthya Bima Yojana (AB-


MGRSBY)
Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Rajasthan
Aim: To offer free treatment to those who fall in the financially weaker sections.
Key Features:
• The beneficiaries of this scheme can attain treatment at specified hospitals. As for the medical
expenses, the Rajasthan government will reimburse the bills.
• The validity of the cashless medical insurance policy will get over after one year. A new
premium payment will activate the scheme for the successive year.

30 Mo Parivar Programme
Launch Year: 2019
Launched By: Odisha
Aim: It is aimed at encouraging environment protection, blood donation and the welfare of Odias in
distress.

31 YSR Rythu Bharosa – PM Kisan Yojana

Aim: To reduce the debts of the farmers
Eligibility

• The government has also kept out top three-tiers of elected representatives from the yojana,
making all MPs and MLAs ineligible to avail it.
• The scheme is not applicable to Sarpanches, Zila and Mandal Parishads & village.

Key Feature:
• Under the Rythu Bharosa scheme, financial assistance will be given to farmers of the state.
• The amount will be distributed to farmers in three instalments.
• The 1st instalment, Rs 7,500, will be credited to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in the
month of May.
• The 2nd instalment of Rs 4000, will be transferred in the accounts in October.
• The 3rd and last instalment of Rs 2,000, will be given in the month of January.
• Earlier, the government announced assistance of Rs 12,500. But now it has been increased to
Rs 13,500 yearly and implement it for 5 years instead of the promised 4 years.
• It will benefit as many as 54 Lakh farmers.
• It will have a joint name i.e. YSR Bharosa and PM Kisan Yojana.

32 YSR Kanti Velugu Scheme

Key Feature:
• Under this scheme, the natives of Andhra Pradesh can screen their eyes free of cost and
spectacles will also be provided.
• It is a part of the Fit India Movement.

33 Mukhya Mantri Kanya Sumangala Yojana

Launched By: Uttar Pradesh
Aim: It aims to empower the girl child
Key Features:
• If a girl child is born, then that family will get a total of Rs 15,000 at different stages on
graduation from birth.
• Maximum two daughters in the family will get the benefit.

Aim: It aims to provide fresh and nutritious food to malnourished children and anemic women with
the help of panchayats and self-help groups
