A CFIORD is a group of notes played together. lf the notes are played
Chords & one after the other to build up the chord, the group of notes is known
as an ARPEGGIO or BROKEN CHORD. Arpeggios are usually played
Arpeggios FREE STROKE to allow the notes to ring together.

Left Hand Slurs
A SL¡.JR is a very smooth connection between two (or more) notes.
On the guitan, the first note is played as normal, but the second note is
produced using the LEFT I{AND ONLY. There are 2 types of slurs:
ASCENDING slurs (Second note hiEhen than first)
DESCENDING slr.¡r's (Second note lower than finst)
Slurs are shown with a curved tine (broken or solld) between the noteheads
