A Reaction Paper to the Tourism Webinar: “Made to be more Amid the Adversities in the New Normal of
Tourism Industry”

During this time of pandemic, I’m seeing webinars as a great opportunity that we students
shouldn’t miss. Since webinars are surely of great help in providing students a deeper knowledge that
would definitely help them appreciate and understand the course that they are pursuing.

One great example of a webinar is the tourism webinar that I recently attended last June 26, 2021.
It was organized by the 2nd year BS Tourism Management of STI College Lipa and the webinar was entitled
“Made to be more Amid the Adversities in the New Normal of Tourism Industry”.

Based from my observation, I can say that the webinar was planned, organized and executed with
sophisticated excellence and professionalism. Since I’ve witnessed the smooth flow of the program from
the beginning up until the end. I really enjoyed on how they turned out on the execution of their fun
games and activities with great prizes. I appreciate most specially the respected and honored speakers
that they have invited. Where, they discussed important aspects that tourism students should know, such
as: the importance of the tourism industry, the future roles of the Tourism Management students in the
tourism industry and the current state of our tourism industry during this time of pandemic.

To be honest, after I have attended the tourism webinar, I’ve come to realize that I’m always on
right path of being a tourism management student. Whereas, I’m now clearly seeing myself as a future
significant contributor to the overall success of tourism industry in the Philippines.
