Introduction

1. During the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, what realizations were you
able to obtain?
Reminiscing the culture and hobbies during the normal state of
life is hard to believe at present times. This pandemic brought two
identical views in my life. Neither good nor bad. Good in such way
that this pandemic gives us plenty of time for our families. They gives
new and healthy lifestyle to individuals. It gives rest to nature from
different crimes committed by the human. In bad sides such as
limitations and less interactions we uphold in daily living. There are
business lead to lose and bankrupt. The economy was hit by this
pandemic that makes poor into poorer.
We all don’t want a world like this! A world with fear, without
freedom, with limitations. Nevertheless, we are never been late in
restoring and healing the world, were just lack of patience and
obedience to the rule of law during this time of pandemic. Even we
don’t have a single penny to send help to those needy in this time,
staying in our home is the most valuable invisible relief we could ever
give. Just wait for the shield, believe to the power of mind of our dear
scientists and of course, the powerful God, we will be surprised when
we are free as a turtledove.

2. How can you be successful in your chosen profession?

 Like cooking, life also needs ingredients in order to attain the
sweetness and success. In my chosen profession, hardwork, patience,
determination with optimism, and faith in God are my bucket list of
characteristics to attain my success. Hardwork by means of
responsible and prepared in every lessons and exams I may face.
Patience, it is necessary since taking this Civil Engineering course
needs a lifetime effort and time because of its board exams and
competition in job hiring. Life full of struggles and with having
determination and optimistic mind, I can assure to conquer those
struggles. Indeed, failure is always behind my back of success. The
doubt of I cannot do and I cannot pass always been removed in my
mind. This failure will serve as my strength. Most important, Faith in
God. God will always guide me no matter what path I choose. If
failures always there, I also have God as my light from darkness.
Having Faith in God is just like having an ultimate weapon prepared
for the battle I may experience. Affiliated of Faith in God, of course,
my actions. Words are nothing without actions to be taken.

What makes people become success is the way they predict
future, believe in chance and how they act in accordance to their
needs and wants. Once we believe that we cannot do, then we lessen
the effort for it that yield on failure. Eventually, we lessen the chance
of success. Another thing, when we always think for our own sake,
we tend to commit mistakes that can led good in the present but badly
in the near future. There are some people who abuse power that attain
what status they want for only a short period of time because at the
end, they failed. As a person think iniquity; gross injustice or a wicked
act, they will reflect his/her future. I believe in the golden role of
Confucius. What we need to success is believe, hope and seeks for the
guidance of lord through having an optimist mind.

bit.
Adequately; the tendency of a person to think in a sufficient
degree or extent. We need to think not just once, but twice or more
than enough in formulating decision in life. The more we think for the
possibilities for the chance of winning and lose, the more we become
prepare for different instances we can have in life. We need to think
for what we consider such as status, capacity, strength, guidance or
supporters, and more. Of course, we need to exceed from our
limitation because if there is no progress then people may use your

 weaknesses as their strength. Exceeding is like showing to others that
you are visible and undeniably the best. A person who is not fear from
any instances in life that yields on success.

3. Where are you now on your road to success? Draw a road map to your

When it comes to road of my success, I always seen my life as a

ladder. Comparison to it is the only metaphor comes first in my mind
since the more I step forward, I expect higher level of lessons to
obtain and obstacles I may face. I consider the college life as the
beginning of the true world I am having. My ladder composed of
seven (7) steps where the four steps representing the year level I am
having in taking the course of civil engineering. The fifth step
represents for the board exam. I am optimistically believed that I can
passed the board exam through one take of it since God knows how
effort I deliberate in every preparation for exams. Eventhough it is
hard to believe, I still hold for my promise. Another step is reserved

 for seeking jobs specifically two years serve at my country and some
years to outside the country. The last step is my success. Success
through attaining the good life that fulfill my enjoyment, pleasure and
ease in life.
I am not yet in the middle of my road but still, I will fight for
my dreams of success. I have god and families who will guide me
throughout the ups and down I may encounter.
