DTM-160V Product Descriptions

1. Description of Product
The device is to display RPM of ENGINE and T/C upon each input signal after receiving
the signal outputted to voltage of ENGINE and T/C. This product raised precision by
using 16BIT ADC built in micro-process and made operation convenient by one-touch
setting availability of all ZERO, SPAN, RPM-TYPE with use of the button in front. Also
this product prevents RPM accuracy from decreasing due to temperature increase as
temperature compensation program is added in consideration of its being installed on
the side of engine.

2. Functional Descriptions
A. RPM-TYPE DISPLAY: USER can check the RPM-RANGE of engine.
B. DIGITAL SETTING Function: User can simply set up SPAN, ZERO, RPM-TYPE with
KEY. ( NOTE: You must fit ZERO(0V) and SPAN(6V) at the same time on SETTING,
then you can increase the precision of product when adding output of precise calibrator
as input. )
C. Internal Temperature DISPLAY: You can check internal temperature as it displays
product internal temperature.

1 ENGINE RPM DISPLAY FND ( FND Color :RED )

Display up to 0~1,200RPM.

1. Used when entering into setting mode.
2. Used when checking DTM-160V’s RPM Setting Status.

5. Setting Procedure

Set up while viewing the setting method in PAGE 5~6.

Input power supply.

First set input as 0V for ZERO SETTING.

(NOTE: It’s also all right to input by jointly connecting ENG, TC input.)

Enter into SETTING MODE and set up each ENG,T/C for ZERO Setting.

Enter into SPAN SETTING MODE and set up input as 6V.

Enter into SPAN SETTING MODE and set up each ENG,T/C for
SPAN Setting.

Enter into RPM-TYPE SETTING MODE for final setting and set up
RPM-TYPE fit to the product.

When setting is finished, check if DISPLAY indication value for input

is right, and check if DISPLAY is done for CHIP temperature an
RPM-TYPE TO FIT .

Turn off power and on again and check operational status to see if
product is rightly saved according to setting

How to change the current status of setting of ENG: 1000

RPM, T/C:60000 RPM to ENG: 1200 RPM T/C:60000

1. First enter into setting mode with pressing KEY

and press , , KEY in a row after 1
second(This time you should press each key in order with
pressing .)

2. In setting mode, Number 9 is flickering in DISPLAY

window.

This time if you keep pressing KEY, you get out of

setting mode, so as soon as you see number 9, you
should immediately take your hand off from . (If you
get out of setting mode, try again as in 1.)

3. To change to ENG: 1200 RPM T/C:60000, if you press

KEY, number 3 is flickering. This time if you press
KEY, it changes to desired ENG and T/C RPM TYPE and
automatically gets out of setting mode.

4. To check the changed RPM TYPE, press KEY with

pressing KEY, then the set RPM TYPE is indicated in
DISPLAY window.
