NATIONAL STANDARDS
Foreword
This standard was prepared by the Technical Committee of the Philippine
Association of Paint Manufacturers, Inc. (PAPM). After consultation with the
industry and the review of the Technical Committee on Paints and Varnishes of
the Bureau of Product Standards ( BPS/TC25), the standard was approved and
adopted as a Philippine National Standard.
This standard was formu 1 ated to lay down the mm, mum requirements for the
quantitative and qualitative properties of the product.
In the preparation of this standard, data called formulation constants were
gathered from different paint manufacturer-members of the association,
averaged, adjusted and tried in the laboratory.
