My hobby is Reading.

When I was in the primary school, there was a lady teacher who always come in school
with new story books contains small incidents from Ramayana, Mahabharata and Akbar- Birbal
stories etc., she told us this stories very interestingly which made me to attract towards the story
books of this kind. As I was growing, my interest also increased a lot to read the stories and
simultaneously the newspapers also. As the history subjects were there in academics each year I
was always to be hungry of knowing the historical incidents. Most of the historical personalities
like Tilak, Gandhi, Savarkar, Netaji, etc. become my inspiration when I listen about them. This
was the actual things which made me to read about them. Here my actual reading starts and it
became habitual for me till now.

If I don’t read any book, newspaper, magazine, novel, etc. or anything daily I feel myself
a looser while sleeping at the night. Read is not only my hobby but it’s an addiction to me. I
learnt a lot many things from reading only. Since I belongs to a completely farmer’s family I
don’t have any guide for my career and in such conditions also I got every information about
study and career opportunities only because my reading habit. I think reading is the powerful
way to make any person to think and thought. Reading brings changes in personality very well. It
makes analytical to the reader. I always use reading as learner. I come to know about the life
skills and ethical values for better living by reading the biographies of great personalities forever.
Reading made my life interesting, since I get satisfactory in any mental situations also if I have
anything with me to read.

Mostly I read the biographies of the personalities who used their whole life for nation in
national movements. Also the biographies of freedom fighters are the source of inspiration for
me. Reading gives me the solutions to live in any situation of life. I think I am grown up and
became matured very fast than my aged persons only because of reading. I am able to analyze
the difference between good and bad things for better living. Reading made me very kind and
spiritual person. I have my own library with 25 to 30 books, mostly of the biographies. I read the
books at wherever I got time. I can’t say exactly when reading becomes my hobby, because it is
the only thing in my life which I continued without any breaks. Reading built confidence in me
to do the things which looks impossible. It also made me able to take part in the discussions of
philosophical treatments.

Finally I like to conclude this assignment as the reading is my hobby because it made me
able to think for solutions of living with peace and satisfaction in very short period of my age.
