Calculate the values of resistance for the following resistors ?

Answer:
(1).Calculating for value of resistance for the 1st resistor:

Orange Orange Silver Black Brown : 3 3 9 1 = 339 × 101 ±1 Ohms (Ω)


(2).Calculating for value of resistance of 2nd resistor:

Green Purple Red Black Red : 5 7 2 1 = 572 × 101 ±2 Ohms (Ω)


(3).Calculating for value of resistance of 3rd resistor:

Green Blue Orange Gold : 5 6 3 = 56 × 103 ±5 Ohms (Ω)

Question:05
An E.M.F. Source of 8.0 V is connected to a purely resistive electrical
appliance (a light bulb). An electric current of 2.0 A flows through it. Consider the
conducting wires to be resistance-free. Calculate the resistance offered by the
electrical appliance.

of current that will flow

Looking at the Ohms Law triangle the current is the unknown leaving the voltage
and resistance as the known values. In this way the current is found by dividing
the voltage by the resistance.
